"I made a last-minute reservation for Sunday lunch and I was not disappointed. The Sunday menu offered an impressive selection of starters, mains, and roasts, which was great to see—unlike some places that only serve roast on Sundays. The food was outstanding, featuring a delightful array of roasted vegetables and sides, some of which were unlimited, like potatoes and cauliflower cheese. The staff were exceptional as well, being attentive without being intrusive. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

I’ve had varied experiences at this restaurant in the past, but this time I really enjoyed my meal. The service was friendly, and the cocktails were excellent.

A wonderful birthday treat for our friend with delicious food and friendly service. So different to the other venues around and about with a superior menu with a touch of French of course. Very good value.

Not bad. Lovely, friendly service; good selection of beers and wines, food only ok. Steaks and basics etc pretty good but everything else a bit average. Could probably do with a smaller menu and better execution.

We went there a bit late, about 9:00pm. The waitress is probably tired; she forgot to bring us plates and and glasses and we needed to keep asking for stuff. The food is fine, but just the service was not that good tonight. View menu

Amazing staff and out of this world food. We had the baguette with dips (highly recommend) for starter and then we had the cornish beef burger and the butternut squash with bulgar wheat salad. To finish the meal of with mango and pineapple crumble and sticky toffee pudding. Defo going back again.

Lovely pub with a nice garden, perfect for a hot British Summer, they also have a giant deckchair, great to chill in. Food is delicious, highlight has to be the soufflés both the cheese and the pistachio are amazing. Staff are always friendly, helpful and welcoming. You can always have a great chat with them. All in all worth a visit!

First visit and very pleased with everything quality of food, drink and service. Cannot fault it. I tried sea bream for the first time ever and it was superb. My wife had the fish curry and others had the gammon steak and steak'n'ale pie. Everyone loved their meals. We live local and have now tried all the Chobham pubs so we will be back! View menu

Well I rarely give 5 stars to pubs because the food is generally average and so is the service. But this is not the case at the sun Inn. The food was delicious and although the staff seemed fairly young with most likely some recent additions they performed really well. Special highlight: the burger, which is really well seasoned and delicious (not surprising its cooked sous vide).

I visited on a beautiful Friday lunchtime and booked an outdoor table to enjoy the sunshine. We also took advantage of an offer for a complimentary glass of wine with our two-course meal, which we had already planned to order. The staff were very polite and helpful, and the food was delightful at reasonable prices. Even though we live in Chobham and it's quite easy to get to, we will definitely return to this restaurant.

"This restaurant was very busy and quite crowded on arrival on Saturday night. Our table was situated between two noisy parties so we waited a further20 minutes to be moved to a quieter position. My best friend and I were meeting up after a long time and we had a lot to talk about! Our starters were very nice. I chose an aubergine dish which came piping hot, and my friend chose the tricolore. However the evening was spoiled by one of the main courses of calves liver being served completely cold, and my sea bass mains was served just luke warm. The liver was sent back and microwaved for 5 minutes with the excuse that the kitchens that night had been chaotic and they had forgotten to heat the food! The mixed vegetables for two were quite frankly bland and minimal, and comprised warm soggy roast potatoes, roast carrots and just one sprig of boiled broccoli. I would expect more from a restaurant which professes to serve quality Italian fare. At £60 per head for two courses and no offer of a price reduction for the cold food, I find it unacceptable under any circumstances and is a reflection that the maître d’ really doesn’t know how to treat discerning customers. Fortunately the Sicilian Gallo wine was very pleasant but the whole evening was spoiled by the main course being less than satisfactory. Would I return? Definitely not ..until they have sorted out their chaotic kitchens and stop serving unheated prepared food."
