"A very large, traditional pub, not to be confused with its smaller neighbour with the same name in Willian. Really nicely appointed in dark wood, with log fires and lots of different seating areas. The restrooms were spotlessly clean too, which is sadly a rarity these days. Would have preferred more choices of real ales (only Doombar and Harvey’s were on offer on a Sunday lunchtime). Staff were really friendly and so was the pub cat, Reggie! Didn’t try the food as we’d had a big breakfast elsewhere, but would definitely have lunch next time."

Great place to eat if you're near Letchworth. Three wow courses for £14.99. Good size portions and well cooked. I had the Pea and Mint Tortellini, give it a try it was wonderful. Great outdoor space as well but it had just rained so we sat in doors, very comfortable.

We visited a wedding party here that lasted all afternoon until midnight. The staff was absolutely amazing and looked at us all and went beyond and beyond to make everyone happy. The food was nice. In any case, celebrate a wide selection of events or enjoy a quiet drink or meal.

Welcome to new landlords Steve Amy, good to see old employees (Ang) still here and smile, as well as new employees Katie and Daisy. All friendly, were attentive, without being intrusive. The food was well presented and fresh. *hint* spread the chili butter over all chicken snives as soon as it arrives, so you can enjoy it all.

Seriously great food, found the timings of food can be a little slow but I understood that the kitchen are still learning the menu to make it perfect. Fantastic customer service and I urge everyone to visit when they have the chance. Such lovely people and the garden is very nice for the summer sunshine! Will be going as often as I can! 5 stars all around.

Visited today at 11.30 a.m., for the first time since the recommendation. Had the Full English breakfast, which was delicious, plentiful and for only £6.99 a bargain. The staff was amazing, friendly and attentive. Garden is fantastic, so peaceful in quieter times, nice to sit and have birdsong in the background. Will definitely be our pub of choice from now on. Thank you.

This is a great pub with a lovely outdoor seating area. The food is very good, I had the buttermilk chicken burger which was fantastic and my wife had the turkey roast dinner which she enjoyed. They have a nice selection of alcohol. There is plenty of parking too. The only issue was that it was far too hot in there which made most of us feel uncomfortable. Otherwise, it was excellent and I highly recommend it.

Called in for lunch, spacious well kept establishment. Had the chicken, bacon avocado sandwich with fries or chips, there was so much filling it was a meal rather than a snack and was delicious and excellent value, OH had the steak sandwich which was just as filled. Staff were friendly and efficient and what's more it's dog friendly too!!! Large outdoor seating area for the warmer days. Will be going back as often as I can!! Can highly recommend.

What a wonderful evening, we haven't been before the pandemic when the kitchen was Thai, which was disappointing. The staff was nice, the food was hot and well presented. We ordered the prawn and kalamari duo and the southern fried chickens to begin goujons, followed by monterey jack honey glazed bacon burgers and we shared Eton mess for dessert. Will definitely be back and if I could give an extra star, it would be so that they are welcome to dogs. Just remembered making a picture sad.

Highly recommended. Lovely environment, excellent staff and service and food hot, well presented and extremely good value for money. The only negative and it’s a big negative, I wanted to leave a tip and the system didn’t allow that to happen. Owners please take note as I was unable to thank the staff in the time honoured fashion because I like an increasing percentage of the population don’t carry cash. This place is well worth a visit and the manager is to be congratulated in this regard Stephen Dee 9 January 2023
