"good pub food. a popular pub at the train station, weary pendler offers a chance to have a frechen tipple before the home trip. eating is good, although the dedicated restaurant could do with increasing size. that said they can eat everywhere in the pub, and there are extensive sitting places outside. sometimes, despite the additional seating, they can still fight to sit somewhere. Dogs welcome and there is a full of genuine ales and ghost to choose. do not expect them to get a pint of carling or other cooking layers."

the never-ending, constantly changing menu in vic is excellent. we go whenever we are in the opposite. on this last visit we have the Spanish.

Great pub and place to eat out. Sunday Roast was great, gravy and beef very enjoyable! Well worth checking out for the other dishes. Pork and Vegan roast dinner also reported as excellent.

for the price is the eating excellent, far beyond standard pulp. huge selection of beer, beautiful atmosphere, great place for a night outside, but useful to make a reservation if they want to sit and eat.

An absolute gem of a place. Booked for Sunday lunch before Cricket at Trent Bridge. Food was great. Tasty, plentiful and good value for money. Drinks were super. Great variety and quality. The service was excellent hospitality as it should be. Very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff.

always a favorite for good beer and good food fans alike. a table for 3 adults and 1 child booked. the choice of drinks is endless. the menu that is on the boards in the bar has a set of choices. all the food we had was always very nice and that was not a take. Now I like my chips, but this is a chip-free zone and to be honest, I found it refreshingly not her on the menu. the staff is very friendly and helpful that is always good, the vic would recommend to all and will continue to do it!
