I had a lovely Sunday lunch that was truly enjoyable. The lamb was cooked to perfection, and I have no complaints about the meal. The only minor issue I noticed was that the tables were a bit sticky; aside from that, everything was great. Rating: Food 4, Service 4, Atmosphere 4.

This place is the best for FOOD SERVICE and ATMOSPHERE a very friendly, warm welcome instantly from the lovely merrell (staff). This lady is a true credit to you. She looked after us well. Then, the chef was also just as friendly and was a top cook. The food was perfect. We have been to many places, and this place did not disappoint. Thank you, we will be back. I visited Pembroke near Leicester and asked a local which pub had the best food. He recommended The Waterman, and he was spot on! Initially, I thought we were waiting a bit long, but it turned out to be due to a large birthday party and the fact that my meal was being prepared from scratch—it wasn't just microwaved! The food was delicious and a generous portion, perfect for my hearty appetite. I had the aubergine parmigiana served with garlic potatoes in cream. Excellent food and service overall. The staff at this pub were incredibly welcoming, and the location is beautiful, complemented by fantastic food. The bar staff and chef were friendly and eager to help, which led us to return for a second visit. I noticed a great variety of vegetarian options on the menu, but I was in the mood for something light during my second trip, so I chose the soup of the day, which was caramelized carrot. My sister pointed out a halloumi salad listed on the website, but it wasn't on the menu. When we asked the chef, he informed us that it wasn't available on the current menu but generously offered to prepare one for me anyway.
