"Nice decor, pleasant hardworking, albeit inexperienced young workforce, food was a letdown. Synopsis from our table... Cauliflower wings- dry and bland. Ham hock terrine- not very nice. Mussels- overcooked, broth was OK, bread was burnt. Pie, chicken and bacon- tasted of nothing but tarragon, chips weren't good, little gravy. Ribs- way too smokey, maybe synthetic, slaw inedible. Cod- tarragon overload. Fish and chips- fish fried too long, almost burnt batter. Was not busy when we visited, and hardly a surprise really based on the food we recieved."

Quality of the food was very good but no mashed potatoes with something like chicken pie? Chips don't go with everything.

A group of us booked for Christmas dinner . I really enjoyed my turkey with nicely cooked veg and roast potatoes, plenty of gravy- on the side. The ferrero rocher pudding was delicious. The staff were great . Definitely will go back

Hi all. 4 of us visited the White Horse on Sunday 28th April after we were let down by the pub we had booked about month ago. And what a pleasure it was at white horse , the young staff were lovely service was top notch and food was fantastic!! Would throughly recommend to all to pay their a visit .we all had a great afternoon

TERRIBLE FOOD We went to this place for a New Year Eve lunch, and ordered the grills and etc. The atmosphere is great, service is great but the food really sucks! The grilled meats were so dry, seems like it was leftovers and reheated. I could barely chew it or swallow it. Very disappointed. We won’t go there to eat again, that’s for sure. We wasted £75!

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our visit to the White Horse restaurant. The service was excellent and all the staff were so friendly and smiley. We had ordered nourish bowl and the halloumi, avocado and harissa burger, followed by the chocolate fudge cake and banoffee pie. The food was of a very high standard and was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend the White Horse to everyone. Many thanks for a lovely evening.
