"Been here twice this week as up in Northumberland on holiday. We were a group of four and all of us loved the food- three courses each on both occasions. Great value, friendly staff and amazing food. Don't be put up by the appearance of the building (looks a bit tatty from outside) as the quality of food and decor inside makes up for it. Will definitely visit on my next trip to the area."

This pub is campervan-friendly and offers free overnight stays if you dine or drink there. The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff are very welcoming. I highly recommend it!

used as a stopover in motorhome . quite simply the best pub meal we have ever experienced. far more like a 5 star restaurant. excellent service and dog friendly. most certainly would return.!!!

We had a fantastic meal last night, made even better by the Eat Out discount. The lamb was delicious and there was plenty of it; my husband had to pitch in to help me finish. I highly recommend this place!
