what a fantastic place today we celebrated my father 70th birthday with a meal for 24 people. the food was perfect and the staff was attentive and friendly.

We visited for lunch, fabulous location, excellent food and attentive staff. Will definitely be visiting again. The cream teas looked amazing so will maybe try them next time. Thank you to all at The Woodford.

Lovely food, generous portions, super staff and great location! The only downfall being the waiting area those bar stools are sooooo uncomfortable!! We didn't have to wait too long for our table though, thankfully!! Thank you Woodford Lodge for a wonderful afternoon!!

The place is beautiful, warm and the afternoon tea is really good. Amazing views to the lake. I can't wait for the summer to go back and stay in the gorgeous terrace instead! It looks like a great place to go with kids too because the terrace seems to be a non-smoking one

What a beautiful place to eat. Really lovely setting, amazing food and service, we went for breakfast and had American fruit Pancakes and Eggs Royal, both were perfect cooked and presented, then we couldn't resist a scone which came warm and delicious. Thank you for a lovely Sunday breakfast.

excellent lunch today the dressed crab was to die, staff were excellent, service was very nice to be met and with a smile a rarity in service today welcomed, excellent value for money and a great selection of food will certainly be a return trip in the not distant future. many thanks and a happy christmas to them all.
