My parents and I came to this restaurant for drinks, and were informed that there was only one available table, despite the fact that the place was empty when we arrived and remained so.

I have had enjoyable experiences at this restaurant at times, but other times it has not been worth the money. The service is always excellent, but I would expect that for the price of £7 for a pint.

We have a very pleasant casual meal here. The menu has all the basics while the drinks menu is very creative and interesting. What made this evening a ‘5’ was the excellent service from Jack and his colleagues. Jack was helpful and welcoming and paced the meal perfectly for us. View menu

Had a going away party here last night. Service and food and surroundings were wonderful. MD was an absolute star as was Michael and the whole team. Booked arrangements ahead of time with team and it was easy and straightforward. It’s an outstanding pub with attentive staff and lovely decor. Many thanks!

Our experience at the Great Central Pub was fantastic! The variety of draft beers and delicious minute steaks were exactly what we were looking for. The atmosphere and room design were impressive, setting the stage for a wonderful time. Our server, Michael, was outstanding – polite, welcoming, and truly enhanced our overall experience. We chose the Great Central to host a networking dinner at the end of a scientific meeting. All of the staff were incredibly attentive, from the initial booking and site visit, to the on the day service. We had a group of over 40 diners and nobody was left waiting for food or drinks. We were thrilled to discover this cozy gastro pub located inside a charming hotel where we could enjoy a delicious dinner in the late afternoon. The service was fast, polite, and welcoming, and the food exceeded our expectations despite the limited menu options. We will definitely be returning. We opted for a single course meal but there was no rush for us to leave the restaurant, especially with the inviting log fire burning. Bravo to all involved, this was a true gem in that area of London!

Great evening at this venue , previously known as 222 at the Landmark . It combines the relaxing ambience of a pub with the gravitas of an elevated menu , cocktails etc brought about by being in the Landmark Hotel . My friend and I used to go here about once a month and , like many venues, it lost its way s little post covid really heartening to see it back to its former self in terms of food, drinks menu and service . However, once the manager was made aware of the issue, he promptly took my meal off the bill and offered us each a glass of wine on the house. He also offered to cook me something else, but by that point, my partner had already finished their meal so I declined. We ended the meal with a nice dessert to share. Overall, the atmosphere was good, the food was pretty good (apart from the fish), and the staff did well to handle the situation. However, I can only give it three stars because it was still a fairly expensive meal and I didn't even get to enjoy a full meal. The person at the table next to us had the same dish and didn't encounter any bones, so I suppose it was just bad luck on my part. View menu
