"The staff were the most professional staff I have encountered in a restaurant in a long time and the food was excellent. It was nice that the gratuity was not automatically added to the bill. This place is a must visit whether you live in Hastings or you are just here for a day. It is a very relaxed atmosphere so you will feel overdressed if you arrive in your best suit or dress but so nice. The portions were generous and service was top drawer. Lovely local restaurant with local catches. I had the hastings bass, which was on the special menu. It was good, but rather expensive at nearly £30. I don't think it was worth that. The fish was served skin up, so I didn't really taste the sauce much. We did order a side of creamed spinach, which went really but paid for as an additional side.
