Excellent place food high quality and very tasty .Staff are friendly and place is spotless.The menu is varied and food tasty would highly recommend when visiting Troon

Had a double roll, which was perfect, and a takeaway soup which I payed £4.00 for, nxt time I went in it was £5.00, just eat orders of takeaway soup are £6.00, is something not right here

Welcomed with a warm friendly greeting, service was prompt and friendly, best coffee in the area- worth the visit alone. Mains were brilliant and good sized portions. The Venice Cafe in Troon is a modern style of cafe/restaurant with a comprehensive menu. We were in for breakfast and both chose the breakfast wrap which consisted of square sausage, black pudding, bacon, tattie scone and a fried egg in a toasted wrap. Served with beans on the side it was substantial and very tasty. Service was prompt and friendly.

Lovely, friendly service. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with “I’ll be with you in a second” while other customers were being looked after. So many places just ignore you it makes all the difference just to be acknowledged and welcomed. A really good and varied menu and all 4 of us found something to our liking. Just a lovely experience all round.

A lovely warm welcome from the team on arrival. We always like to choose an independent place to stop at where possible We ordered Cullen Skink soup and a bowl of chilli chicken with wedges. Plus hot drinks. Our server explained what the ingredients were in the food which was good The food was very tasty and piping hot It's always good to try some of the local cuisine when you can and the soup was delicious Definitely a nice place to stop for lunch View menu

This was our first experience at this welcoming establishment. We three each had the full Scottish breakfast with tea. The food was plentiful, tasty, well presented and very good value for money. Service was friendly, attentive and prompt. The only niggle concerned the availability of ketchup and brown sauce, which was provided (upon request) in individual small sachets, placed on the table, one-each at a time, necessitating further requests. A bowl/basket containing an assortment of sachets, brought to table with the food, would alleviate the issue.

Day out in Troon with wife and two kids. Went around 3pm and it was very quiet. Warmly welcomed and service speedy. Menu was a mix of played meals and snacks, sandwiches and soups. Varied and appealing and priced well we thought. Two of us had sandwiches, one had macaroni cheese (which was the best we’d tasted! and one had a loaded fries bowl (bacon, black pudding, onion and cheese sauce . Food was fresh, piping hot and very tasty. Drinks were good and also well priced. Food came in good time and staff checked back that we were happy. Chatty but not overbearing. Decided to travel 8 miles to breakfast here. Mistake! Restaurant nice enough looking. Considering this was quite early and not many customers the toilet (yes only one could have been cleaner and smelling nicer. But to the breakfast. I did think about having the full breakfast and this may well have been nicer. I opted to have two breakfast rolls. The rolls were cheap and nasty, think of a six pack out of the cheap and reduced section of a supermarket. They were really bad. I had asked for the bacon on my rolls to have the fat removed and to be medium to well cooked. I received cindered bacon. The fat had not been removed but in an attempt to perhaps hide it the 2 very small rashers of bacon... View menu
