"It is all to easy to respond to feedback requests by giving 5 stars. In this case however there was no exaggeration. For the Tuesday steak night my wife had sirloin and I had rib-eye steak. Mine was the best I have had for many a year. Service was welcoming and attentive. The evident concern was that we should enjoy ourselves. This target was well met. Then came the dessert. Wow ... chocolate fondant. A real pleasure. Thank you all for making our short stay just what we wanted. We definitely plan to revisit in the not to distant future."

Took my mum for Afternoon tea. Accomadated very well, we both have an allergy to fish, not an issue. Lovely food, service was excellent. We will definitely be returning. Thank you

I enjoyed the cream tea, and the staff were great. However, the sandwiches were stale, the scones tasteless and dry, and the trays were cracked, which detracted from the overall experience.

what a stunning place, the customer service is excellent and the breakfast good if they can find nothing they like, they need the fussiest eater and certainly went to the wrong place, eating excellent.

Visited with eleven other people, for a cream high tea to celebrate a birthday. There was a wide selection of sandwiches, scones, cakes and speciality teas. The food was good and the waiters were very helpful.

very good evening, table for five. very attentive waiter. the food was very good, three had frying chicken, one had steak and ale-pie and one fish chip. sweets were pavlowa, ice and cheesecake. great presentation and very tasty. value for money in the food, drinks a bit expensive, that is the same everywhere. would definitely recommend and would go back.

An excellent lunch in a well appointed restaurant within an art deco hotel. The food and service was extremely good the price was really quite reasonable. I was lucky to find a parking space in the hotel, bearing in mind its superb position overlooking the sea. Having enjoyed coffee by the swimming pool, my guests and I all agreed to return ! Fantastic !

Nice choice on menu with skate which rarely see and my husband really enjoyed. My steak was cooked to my liking and was very tasty. Scallop starter was also excellent. Staff attentive and friendly. Only downside was that although I had booked several weeks in advance through this site my booking had not been passed through to the restaurant and they were not expecting us however luckily it was not an issue as not very busy but could have been if in peak season.
