"we went with my wife and two babies and ordered two pieces of chocolate cake. after literally 25 minutes waiting time, the cakes would not arrive, although there were hardly customers at that time. we had to go, but they paid us for the cakes we never ate. the headkeeper who had served us (a big slim lady) offered us with a big smile, although we were significantly upset. my wife and I suspect that she was the problem, not the restaurant itself. she started to give us menus in English when we asked them "only German she said) even if I went later and picked English menus themselves. during the 25 minutes of waiting she never even came to ask us if we needed anything else, although we saw her and the other waiters who visited the other customers continuously. long story short, we felt discriminated by her (no German? did they come in with children? not beautifully dressed as the average customer in this neighboring my wife worked in the prime tower, so she came with her colleagues a few times into this restaurant and told me that the service is questionable. I can testify. when they come with children and/or are looking for a relaxed, snob-free atmosphere, they do not come here (they risk getting underhumane treatment), but simply go over the playground to kiosk."

Super fine dinner, very warm service, would be happy again at any time!

Actually a nice restaurant. The tempeh main course is a disgrace in terms of price. A mini portion that would barely do justice to an appetizer and leaves the guest hungry. All this for the price of a whopping 30 CHF.

about viaduct there is much to love: its location under the viaduct is really cool and the restaurant has made the best out of the free space for eating; the food on the menu is easy, healthy and from an interesting series and to. it is all out, the cost of eating is a bargain in comparison to other restaurants in Switzerland. for 24f we could get an salat, suppe and main dish that were all delicious! Very fine food with reasonable prices and a very cozy atmosphere. The waiters are not too hasty, and this stands out in a positive way. A cozy atmosphere prevails. They look and come at the right moment and in no way disrupt the conversations. The food was excellent, both in taste and presentation. We had cordon bleu and ravioli. For dessert, the chocolate cake and the wine pear. A knife would have been more suitable for eating the wine pear alone. We'd love to come back.

Food was very delicious and fresh, and the staff were beyond kind!! I'd recommend it all we had the winter greens salad, veal cutlet, and winter bratwurst. So good!! My family and I got dropped off by Uber in absolutely the wrong location, we got lost on the walk over, and were late for our reservation. They were very kind about it and thankfully there was space for us available. They brought a lovely cake for my Mom's birthday and everything was just delightful. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful meal and a really lovely dinner experience! Side note: the attention to detail in the dishes is so nice! It's lovely presentation and notes without being over the top of showy for the sake of it (...

"This is my fav Italian joint in Zurich. La Famiglia Tremonte is a small, family run cafe-restaurant that serves excellent and authentic Italian food at prices that are low compared to the norm in Zurich.Famiglia Tremonte is rather inconspicuously located at the corner of Zurlindenstrasse and Birmensdorferstrasse, a couple of doors away from The Desperado Mexican Restaurant. You might need to look for it a little: I lived practically next door and did not notice it for almost a year, and even then a friend had to point it out to me.The restaurant is mostly a takeout with very little seating, i.e. 7 people inside, and when the weather is goo, about 5 people outside. The ambience is basic but, like most things in Switzerland, the interiors are very clean. Staff and service are very goo. The food here is awesome! Authentic Italian fare that is probably heavily influenced by Sicilian tradition since that is where the family is from. I used to visit almost every day because the food tastes great and the prices are so low for Zurich. I have tried almost everything: several pasta dishes, polpettine, stuffed bell peppers, meatloaf, piadina, and of course, the fabulously tasty and hot chilli infused EVOO. I enjoyed every dish I ordered. Great stuff! I strongly recommend the super-hot chilli infused EVOO as a seasoning for almost all dishes, but especially the pasta dishes that come in a cream sauce. Please be careful with chilli EVOO: 0.5 tbsp. for noobs, and a max. of 2 tbsp. for those who like it hot. The chilli EVOO, when used appropriately, adds great flavour to your dish. The piadina is the best I have eaten - period. I have been all over the world, spent a lot of time in Italy and New York (: great place for Italian food lovers :), and I still think this is the best piadina ever. They also serve some nice Italian desserts -- I've tried a few but have forgotten the names. They also have a small selection of Italian ingredients for sale. I bought the pesto and was happy with it. You also get a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic Italian drinks to go with the food.Prices are relatively low by Zurich standards: I rarely ever ate for more than CHF 15, and if I skipped the drinks it was usually around CHF 10. Of course, this varies a bit according to what you order.Highly recommended. Glad I found this place. Great for office workers in the vicinity."

"My recent visit to Edi's Pizzeria in downtown Zurich was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly set the tone for the entire experience. First and foremost, I must commend the staff for their exceptional service. Every member of the team was not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of perfection. From offering recommendations to promptly refilling drinks, their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. As a vegetarian, I'm always on the lookout for restaurants that offer delicious meat-free options, and Edi's Pizzeria exceeded my expectations. Their Veggie pizza was an absolute masterpiece, boasting a flavorful combination of fresh vegetables and savory toppings atop a perfectly crisp crust. Each bite was a culinary delight, bursting with robust flavors that left me craving more. Beyond the food and service, the ambiance of Edi's Pizzeria further elevated my dining experience. The cozy yet vibrant atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for enjoying a delicious meal with friends or family. Whether you're seeking a casual lunch spot or a cozy dinner destination, Edi's Pizzeria offers the ideal setting for any occasion. In conclusion, my visit to Edi's Pizzeria was nothing short of exceptional.
