"Stopped off at this lovely little village pub on the drive down to Camberley. The White Hart was the perfect country pub for lunch. We all chose different items off the menu from the Philly steak sandwich, a beef burger and a chicken gyros with a side Greek salad, each dish was tasty and filling. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5"

Stopped for a coffee. Helpful staff. Limited seating due to so many reserved tables, which is good for business.

This is a delightful restaurant to dine at. Keep in mind that it can get crowded at times, so plan your visit accordingly.

I’m not sure why this pub is on trip advisor other than the quaint atmosphere. Nice place to grab a quick pint. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

Very average in many ways. Sunday roast now has 2 cheap vegetables and cauliflower cheese (good) Gone are the days of a good plate full of food, shame as it was way better in past. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

I had a terrible experience with the steak and kidney pudding at this restaurant. It was lacking gravy and only contained meat and pastry. Even my dogs refused to eat the meat. The mashed potato and carrots were delicious, but the overall meal was ruined by the pie. After complaining, the staff kindly refunded us £5.

"We 're looking forward to trying the Pheasant again on a normal day. We went on Boxing Day and it was pretty disastrous. Meant to be a treat but it certainly wasn 't. Starters were nice, no cooking involved apart from the pesto. Then the mains. The beef was grey, not pink as I was told it would be but it was tender. The roast potatoes tasted a bit old but there were plenty. The Chantenay carrots were very soft. The Savoy cabbage was perfect but the portion was tiny. The gravy was nice but we got a different variety when we asked for more. The Yorkshire pudding was the main disaster; it seemed old, and very hard to the point of shattering. Desserts. The sticky toffee pudding was fine although the serving of sauce was very mean. The clotted cream with it is, in my opinion, the best way to serve this pudding, it 's a relief from all the sweetness. The apple crumble was terrible; it came in a bowl with the custard already in it with the pudding. The apple was sour and the crumble was squidgy stodge. The service was fine although some staff not yet fully professional. We would have expected a welcoming hello and goodbye but that didn 't happen. Our overall feeling was that there was serious penny pinching going on with the mains and desserts but this is a very bad idea when you are judged on your last meal but we do intend to try again because it 's such a wonderful building and we 've had many good experiences in The Pheasant, perhaps before the present owners, we 're not really sure."
