"I walked in without a reservation and was pleasantly surprised to find a table available. The staff was accommodating and we only had a short wait. I'm happy to report that the wait was worth it, as the food was fantastic. All of the staff were very attentive, especially Alexia, our server. I will definitely return to try more of the delicious food on the menu."

"Central Coffee House in Northallerton serves the best coffee in town, without a doubt. If you are a fan of quality coffee, I suggest avoiding the chain cafes on the main street and heading straight to this local, family-owned establishment. The service is friendly and personalized, and the coffee is truly outstanding. As someone who has frequented many coffee shops in London, I was impressed to find this gem that rivals my favorite spots in the capital but with even better service. I also grabbed a scone and brownie to go, both of which were freshly baked on site and delicious."

"Thoroughly enjoyed by visit to Betty’s at Northallerton. Loved the bright and open layout inside, seating and atmosphere was very incoming and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful and all wore masks. Hands sanitiser was available in various places and the facilities were stunning and spotless. Food was also excellent. I had the fried haddock with fries, which was thoroughly enjoyable. Fries and batter were golden and fish was moist. Neither were oily. Crushed peas were the star of the show to me though with a punchy flavour (undertones of mint but not too much). Overall the dish was fresh, flavourful and well presented. Desserts were excellent, as you might expect. Brown Bread Sundae was a stand out for me. Breakfast tea was exactly what I was after. Full bodied and very strong. Perfect partner for the fish and fries. Overall, great experience. Would go again."

"Lovely pub, staff are great and very welcoming and polite. We eat here often because hubby loves the fish and chips but this is the first Sunday lunch we've had as a family. Can't fault it, fabulous value for money, portions are very large and the meat was beautiful, the beef melted in the mouth as did the pork...and the crackling was cracking . The lemon and passionfruit cheesecake is homemade and delicious, the chocolate brownie is also a must have for any chocolate fan . Only downside is my eyes are too big for my belly and i think im going to pop!! will definitely be returning as Sunday lunch visitors. 10/10"

"Entered and saw no sign saying wait to be seated etx, thought we just sat where we wanted. Was told to go back to the bar and order a drink before we ate. So we did. When it was time to find a table, the same pedson then told us their kitchen may be closing due to the time of day... but could squeeze us in again nowhere did it say it closed mid day. It was a weekend and in the menu it said open all day. The food was nice but the prices on the menu and on the website didn 't match the price we were charged and then when I brought it up they said we are changing our prices and that 's how much it is . It was a bit dissapointing, we came here to try a new place but don 't know if I would return. Being charged more and having poor service I think I 'll go elsewhere"
