"Food was very, very bland. I ordered a curry with “fresh green chilli” in the ingredients expecting some heat, zing, nuttin’, jus’ a bland, tasteless sauce. Booker cash and carry frozen king prawns in the Tiger Prawn Puri (I was expecting nice fresh prawns in the shell) Not a lot of lamb in the curry, 4 large pieces and a wee piece. The keema nan was brilliant though AND the food came out hot, which is always good. Waitress was great, very good service, but she was let down by the kitchen :0( Place was cold too, the mobile heater was in reception. No heat in restaurant. Not a great experience."

Service was poor had to ask numerous times for glasses of water and ice. The only time you saw any staff was when they were serving a table which took forever. It took 2 hours from ordering our meal to be served. Obviously take away food was the priority. Very disappointing. View menu

Fantastic evening at Zaika. We haven’t been since pre Covid and were so impressed. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We like our curries and this was the best we've had in a long time. The poppadoms and pakora were perfection. The nan bread so tasty and light, the curries full of flavour and delicious. very very reasonable prices, so much so we checked we hadn't been undercharged. I cannot recommend Zaika more highly, we’ll be back!

Have been here twice. The staff are friendly, helpful and most accommodating. The food experience was out of this world. The portions were elephant sufficiency and well presented. Great variety and every taste bud carefully catered to. Great family centred cuisine. Tasted like real authentic home cooked indian food.
