this beautiful old department store has long been a traditional place. good German kitchen at medium prices. In summer also with small outdoor garden.

If you like traditional and good food. you should come here and it's perfect if it's warm enough to sit outside and forget the world for just one or two hours. Service was quick and friendly :)

we celebrated my wife's birthday. it was perfect. fantastic eating and excellent service with a great ambiente. very accommodating chefin, which offered us an excellent wine selection and finally there was still a spiritual selection of his same look! the small local in the old town of Frankfurt/Bonames is a secret tip for high-quality apple wine enjoyment - which is made here. delicious hessian dishes freshly prepared, seasonal dishes are also available. for meat lovers there is a speciality offered only here - bullenfilet (400g ) from the wooden board, with or without supplements. predikat: very valuefoll.Netter attentive friendly service as well as moderate prices, round off the total impression positiw. again and again - highly recommended.

The UNICORN is probably one of the most delightful places to enjoy typically German food at its best. Located near the entrance to Old Bonames, you have to really look for the entrance. Parking nearby is difficult. (I'm purposely trying to be obscure in the hopes that few people bother to check it out.) They make their own apple wine, outstanding! My favorite "Vorspeisen" is the anchovy bread, "Sardellen Brot." If you like anchovies, it's fantastic and worth a trip for that alone! Everything's good, but "deftig" (filling!) we were not the first time in the unicorn. We met it through the "gri soß festival", which the bonameser traditional local won in 2013.
