"The place is a bit hidden but does have quite a few vegan options. Had a dish off of the vegan menu, it was a large dough/pastry dish filled with onions, spinach, and (what I can only assume is vegan cheese) garlic cheese. The food was underdone in the middle/ raw dough. However the flavor of the dish was good. Also it was not very expensive. Was it amazing, not really."

the puppy is an old-eating and well-bourgeois place in imperial laundering. the drinks prices as almost everywhere in the gastronomy somewhat too high, but still acceptable. all in all, a food store that you can recommend. View menu

the puppy in kl stands out through its excellent eating to really unbeatable preisen. you can see that the cookery was still learned here. the chef cooks traditional dishes, complemented by seasonal specialties. I'm happy to come back!

can recommend the pfaffschenke. our foods were great and freshly prepared. Price-performance top!Only the a little long waiting period and the ancient interior of the local fell on us negatiw, but absolutely to get used to the fine eating!

the restaurant for papshot is a petty-bourgeois restaurant near the sick house. the slender room is mainly visited by older imperial liars who appreciate an excellent natural cuisine. the service are very friendly, they welcome masters with their names. View menu

I was very positiw surprised by the delicious vegan menu in this but rather small local. also on the ice map vegan ice creams were found. So I can simply recommend this local vegan to visit the imperial launders. very big praise to the paffschenke's staff!

"Holiday, nice weather and still what to do in Kaiserslautern. We planned our start in Kaiserslautern with a light lunch. We visited Ayame for the first time 3 years ago. It is located in the former JVA Kaiserslautern, which was converted a few years ago into the Hotel Alcatraz. A Japanese restaurant fits well here, because the Japanese garden borders directly on the building. We have free parking in the courtyard. Schlichter hotel entrance, only hidden hints at the restaurant The way to the small restaurant leads past the reception. At 13.45 we entered the small restaurant with few seats and hoped to have a seat. Open until 14.00. A long-term construction site on the way to Kaiserslautern forced us to a rather large detour. We were the only guests, were warmly welcomed by a young man. Our question whether we get anything else to eat was kindly hunted. So we took a seat in the small, Japanese-style dining room and got the menu. Optic hasn't changed much since our last visit. Everything is clean and well maintained, bare tables. Daylight only illuminates the room. Unfortunately, you can't look outside. . The menu surprised me. She was partly handwritten and so completely different from my memory. Due to the advanced time, we decided very quickly: 2 large mineral water € 2.50 Foreway to crumb: Edamame € 4.20 For both of us: Sushi Menu € 13.80: Miso Soup, 3 Sushi Nigiri, 4 pieces Hosomaki, 8 pieces Uramaki Our drinks came immediately and well cooled. A good portion of the salted soybeans a little later. The hot beans in the bowl were a tasty crackling beforehand. The young man supported a (his? wife in the open kitchen. Here I was able to observe how the Misosuppe was tasted and the lady freshly prepared our sushi. That made all a very good impression. View into the open kitchen The steaming soup with tofu insert tasted mild and yet aromatic according to the Wakamealga. After a reasonable waiting period, our sushi were served. Very appealing. The 3 Nigiri classic with salmon, shrimp and tuna. The “Makis” pefect rolled, very good in taste. Overall a good portion, we were pleasantly tired. There was really nothing to complain about for the price. Sushi Menu The young man was very attentive, but to expect from two guests. In between the question whether everything tastes. Wasabi, soy sauce and ginger were handed down. In the case of numbers, the solution for the significantly different menu. The young Japanese couple only took over the restaurant a few weeks ago. This also explained that some processes have not yet been very routined. Stay to hope that the small restaurant will talk to friends of Japanese cuisine. Despite proximity to the city, it is very hidden in the building complex. Running is not coming over here and not every hotel guest likes Sushi. The toilets belong to Hotel Alcatraz, are modern, very clean and well maintained. Restaurant and toilets are walkable and without stairs."
