"Alter Wirt was recommended by our hotel and we enjoyed it so much we went back two nights in a row. The first time was on our own and the second night with our adult sons. The ambience is good it was lively, bustling...and a typical bistro style restaurant. The venison goulash was exactly what I felt like on a cold night. It was hearty with a really nice mushroom sauce and red cabbage plus pear and cranberry to cut the richness of the dish. Would have loved to try dessert but I was too full. The second night I opted for a warm salad thinking that it would be lighter so I could fit dessert. I was still full so only had an ice cream sundae which I ended up sharing. Everyone's meals were good, generous portions and the service was brisk."

After a long flight from the US, we enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Alter Wirt. The service was friendly and the food portions large. The spinachkaese spaetzle was probably the best I've ever eaten! The traditional Bavarian atmosphere was charming and prices were reasonable View menu

We had dinner here last week, the service was great, food was above average, and of course a lot of good beer to choose from. Our waiter spoke English and the menu also had English. We ate inside as it was cool out, but would...have loved to sit outside in the beautiful garden. There seemed to be a lot of locals there watching futbol. Would go again, highly recommend

We stayed at a nearby AirBnB and this was our go to place. We were lucky enough to be there when it was still warm enough to use the outdoor beer garden, but on the cool nights we would go into the restaurant. Very friendly...help, really good draft beer and the food was not only very good, but very reasonably priced. We even had breakfast once and it was really good too

We arrived as a family of two adults, one We were initially told that if we were to order food it could take up to an hour to arrive, which we said would be fine as it was very busy and we could...have a couple of beers. We ordered our food two jumbo currywurst and also two beers. Beers arrived promptly, they were good. Our food also arrived within half an hour, so much quicker than we’d thought, and it was really tasty. Would recommend! Atmosphere as also very good View menu

I went to this establishment twice during the Oktoberfest and both times had a good experience. The first time was just for a couple of drinks but at in happy hour I had nothing to complain about for a litre mass. The second...time I had the Schnitzel special which is a cornflake crumbed beauty as well as the litre mass of beer and it came to under Amazing value. Check the times for these specials but if you hit the place at the right time then it can be very very cheap for Munich. And the food was good to boot.

It was unusual that every single item at breakfast was was counted and additional extra i.e an extra cup of coffee, never experienced that in any other German hotel. Others have noted the slow service for breakfast which is true. One breakfast was taken...out in the garden in the sun which made it even nicer. Otherwise the rooms were superb in size and just excellent. The hallway was so large that some hotels would have put a pair of bunkbeds in there. The room was on the street side, facing the church and was very airy. I felt the room offered very good value € single occupancy, especially with the free parking

"This restaurant has a very informative homepage! The pictures and descriptions of the food very appealing. Vietnamese and Thai dishes and sushi are offered here. At noon very cheap offers, but also the prices for evening are still ok. When I read that a lot of value is placed on fresh ingredients and preparation, that sounds promising in any case. The images from the local area also made me positive. I chose the place to eat there with a group of 8 people. But I'd rather go to the number safe and wanted to make a small pre-test today. When I stood in front of the place, I remembered that I've been here a few times when it was the Mistura Tropicana. I had this from the ambience and the temperatures but not so good memories. It has changed visually but very positively. Much dark wood and also dark tables, chairs and benches. The walls in a beautiful cream yellow. In front of the windows the green curtains are a beautiful color pick. As usual in more and more restaurant 's, the bar is illuminated indirectly with LED, here in a green. My accompaniment didn't find it too good, but I did. Only disturbing for me was a bright, bright metal tree in the entrance area. I don't think it's the rest of the place. LEIDER was very cool. The oven was probably turned on quite late. It became a bit warmer during the evening. Nevertheless, I would strongly recommend a cardigan here. The tables are very nicely covered and there are small floral decorations and tea lights. But they only burn at the tables that are occupied and that was only our table at 6:00. At about 10 a.m. there was another couple, otherwise the place remained empty. The service was super friendly and super attentive and yet with restraint. At dinner I did not discover my beloved Bo La Lot on the map, a pity! So my choice fell on baked Wantan (3,90€) that are made themselves. They were already at the table. That really went very hard. But they were really made themselves. The filling is quite captive/compact (I lack the appropriate word to describe it better, but well tasted. They were very crispy. Sweet Chili Sauce also tasted good. We didn't have to wait long for the main courts. Once roasted rice ribbon noodles with chicken (10,50€ and once red curry with tofu and vegetables (9,50€ . Great that they are placed in bowls on a small tree, so the dishes are warm longer. The dishes were served in beautiful bowls. Only the parsley as decoration is already very retro; taste also very good. Vegetables had a slight bite. Beverage prices: 0.4l water for 2.50€, soft drinks/choices 0.4l for 3,50€ and wine 0.2l for 4,00€. And unfortunately again here the beer is cheaper than a soft drink: 0.5l for 3.50€. Our desire for separate invoices was met without any problems and we were offered an espresso or schnapps etc. Here we liked to pamper with a plum wine. There are still a few small comments: Sushi is not available for the next 14 days (Sushimeister has vacation we only experienced on request, I would have liked to know as an info if the menu is handed over toilets are in the basement, so not disabled. However clean, although very 70s The customer parking places are not freed from snow (request: obviously the evaluation was read, because at the 2nd. Visit was the snow cleared A few words to the 2nd visit with 8 people: The place was not overly crowded again, but there was a birthday party in the basement that had only made karaoke and from 20/20.30 we went up to the restaurant for dinner, but we had just been in the break. Service very nice and friendly. Beverages and food were often served only from one side and we guests should then pass on, we all found a little disturbing. Better 4 guests from one side and the other 4 then from the other side. There was Krupuk. Afterwards we still have mango with a mixture of salt, garlic, chili and shrimp powder get VERY sharp, interesting and tasty. In addition, candied ginger (also delicious . All ordered dishes have been good and very good! Only the fact that Pangasius was panned in the Rotcurry was not so beneficial. Because he was covered with redcurry, the panade was very soft and gly. Either I got to serve it separately from each other or better: use Pangasius nature. In the menu there was no indication of panade. Portions all very big! Service and food have definitely convinced me and I also like the ambience. (Okay, except on the flashing LED tree."
