A small bottle of Kölsch alcohol-free (must be unfortunately) costs EUR 2.50 and the glass from the barrel EUR 1.40. Compliment! The operation is typical Rhenish, flott, nice and set to jokes! Die Karte ist im guten Sinne übersichtlich, Zutaten frisch, das Gemüse knackig. Wer zu Stoßzeiten einen Platz möchte sollte reservieren. Der Besuch lohnt.

Hier passt einfach alles:Die kleine Karte bietet leckere Vorspeisen, Fleisch- und Fischgerichte und zusätzlich eine wechselnde Auswahl an Flammkuchen. Die Zutaten sind immer richtig frisch und die Gerichte stimmig abgeschmeckt. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich, der Service aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.

Eine alte Kneipe mit modernem Einfluss.Der Service war super. Wir haben uns direkt wohl und willkommen gefühlt.Das Essen: Alte Gerichte neu interpretiert und jeden Monat wechselnde Gerichte, da ist wirklich für jeden etwas dabei. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist auf jeden Fall stimmig. Ich würde jederzeit wieder herkommen!!!

Von außen und innen eine Kneipe, schon eher trashig, eng, altes Mobiliar, rustikaler Service, überhaupt nichts Feines. Und da soll man essen gehen? Klar doch! Die kleine Karte gibt immer was Leckeres her. Ja, da fehlt oft der letzte Schliff. Manche Schludrigkeiten wären ganz leicht zu vermeiden und man würde locker einen bis zwei Euro mehr zahlen wollen. Doch da gibt es mal Jakobsmuscheln für kleines Geld und andere Nettigkeiten, die man in dem Ambiente nie erwartet hätte. Es gibt auch anständigen Wein in kleiner Auswahl.

Wir waren schon einmal da. Im Sommer, und da saßen wir im Hof und haben herrlichen Flammkuchen mit Superwein dazu gehabt.Gestern waren wir im Rahmen der DiningDays da. Das Entdeckermenü für 19 Euro hat uns schier umgehauen!! Allein die Vorspeise (Jakobsmuschel mit Ziegekäsetürmchen) war das Erlebnis wert. Die Hauptspeise, ein wundervolles richtig saftiges Schweinekotelett von ca. 4 cm Dicke, begleitet von Schmorzwiebeln und Kartoffelecken war ein bodenständiger Hochgenuß!!Zum Abschluß gönnten wir uns noch ein Mousse und waren auch über die Weinempfehlung des Chefs überglücklich...
