"This was my 2nd visit to this restaurant after being there last year and wasn't disappointed again. Very nice inside without being over the top with some nice personal touches on the tables etc Food is Tremendous here!! Even if your just passing through and getting hungry its well worth stopping here for a feed Service staff are warm and friendly and make the experience for me. Big car park outside that's free with loads of spaces provided as well. Highly recommended."

The food was incredible. Daily specials were fantastic. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, very quick service and soft music in the background. Some of the best gastro pub food. I would absolutely recommend it.

Restaurant food is fantastic. Best I've eaten (in Scotland) in a long time. Not your normal pub food, what you get is something similar to a 5 star restaurant in my opinion. Worth the visit. Would eat there again, 100%.

I visited this restaurant with my husband and year old son last week and we had a really lovely meal.The pub itself is beautiful, the staff are friendly and attentive and the food is great. We all had the steak pie and it was so delicious. We even managed to shoehorn in a pudding each!Really nice pub shame we don't live closer!

Birthday lunch with friends food was excellent, chaps enjoyed range of beers on offer. Brilliant place to visit they welcome dogs which is great, we sat inside and enjoyed a wonderful lunch then went outside to finish drinks and enjoy the sunshine. Have been to the Meiklour many times even had a birthday function for my hubby I would highly recommend to anyone.
