Despite it being a very busy Sunday lunchtime at one of the most popular restaurants in La Gacilly our meal was beautifully presented and was delicious. Very pleasant staff. Popular with large family groups.

We asked for butter to have with the toast for the foie gras but as you can see from the photos we were almost done before the very hard butter arrived. Except for this small expense the food and service was excellent and worth all the... euros paid. View menu

We were a large group (17) but Violaine the owner went above and beyond to accommodate us.Tables were moved ,chairs sorted and drinks were served while we perused the menu.The food was excellent,as was the service .We will return.I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Came with a large party last weekend and had a wonderful meal . Each course was really beautifully served and totally delicious . I had the vegetarian option and was very impressed . The desert was lovely the waiters were very efficient and friendly and...the atmosphere was truly welcoming . The restaurant is ok an ideal location right by the river with wonderful views .

Eaten here several times and the quality and price of the food is excellent, but the service is odd. There are approximately six staff but only one actually takes orders and serves the food, the others clear tables etc. This is very annoying when waiting...ages to be served to be ignored by staff only a few feet away. But the food compensates for this so be prepared to have a very leisurely meal. View menu

Very good restaurant, pleasant terrace. My companion and I ate very well. Fairly fast service despite a lot of people. Very friendly and friendly waiters and waitresses. On our recent trip to Brittany our relatives took us to La Gacilly where we discovered Au Bout Du Pont. Situated on a bent in the road by the river bridge with plenty of parking 200m away. We sat on an outside table and had...a wonderful lunch, I had probably the best chicken ceaser salad I've ever had my wife had steak with crispy fries and our relatives both had seafood salad loaded with prawns. Our drinks were served very quickly and our lunches arrived soon after, great service and extremely good food, definitely recommend this one.

It's bank holiday today , something to do with Mary, who knows! La Gacilly is a smashing little town with a world renowned photographic exhibition on throughout the town more than 4000 images and the theme this year is La Terre et Questions ..it is magnificent. Don't bother going on holiday anywhere else. Me and the bird had lunch, the bown was heaving so we sat down quickly to grab a table. Seafood platter to start with a glass of Chenin. The bird had a lamb shank (very good) and I had the entrecte (ros also very good.
