"The restaurant was quite busy, so we were glad we had made a reservation. However, the staff seemed to struggle a bit with keeping tables clear and taking orders. We had booked for 12 noon, but our food didn’t arrive until nearly 12:50. Nevertheless, it was definitely worth the wait. Overall, the staff did well and were very friendly; they just appeared to be a bit short-staffed at times. The coffee was great, but it could have been served hotter. I’m not sure if they’re concerned about making it too hot or if it just sits for a few minutes before being served. Additionally, I experienced some trouble connecting to the WiFi again. Be sure to check out the on-site shop, where you can find plenty of local goodies, and don’t forget to visit the ponies! Will I return? Absolutely. I would rate this visit an 8 out of 10. As for parking, it’s free, but it can get busy, and the ground can become muddy if it’s been wet."

The restaurant offers fantastic local products and delicious food, making it a lovely spot to spend a few hours, especially for families traveling together. However, the availability of cafes can be a bit inconsistent. Currently, you need to join a queue, make a reservation, or take the chance of not being able to visit. It would definitely deserve a 5-star rating if online booking were an option, as well as reservations outside of regular hours for those who can’t call during the day.

This cafe has a pleasant appearance and friendly service, although it can be a bit slow. My main concern is the inflated prices that seem unwarranted. For example, they charge £4.40 for a 250ml bottle of Folkington's juice, and if you want decaf coffee, there's an extra 15p fee. On the kids' menu, a single boiled egg and a piece of toast, which was roughly the size of a medium Hovis slice, costs £6. The markup here is outrageous. There are many other options nearby that offer much better value.
