"We had a pre theatre meal here as we were going to County Hall to see a play so didn't have a lot of time and only ate a main course each. Two of us had duck, one had chicken and one had lamb shank. We all agreed that the food was just OK very average to be honest. The portion sizes were adequate but sides like potatoes and veggies weren't included with our duck meals and prices were high to us anyway, so the food was expensive. Drinks were also a bit high and when you added 12.5% service charge on top, the meal really did cost far too much. Service was very good, though we had to chase the waiter at the end to pay for our bill as we had to get to the play! The venue was very nice. Would we go again? No."

We had a table at 9:00, but the kitchen is closed at 9.30. Balanced experience. Food was moderate and maitre de was pompous. The waitress was just a highlight.

this meal was exceptionally good, as I did not expect much on the first side. the staff was friendly and checked for them all once awhile, the brat pork and the steak were nicely cooked. when they have lunch, I think I'll come more often.

we had a nice stay here when we were in london and at joel’s the breakfast buffet was quite limited compared to the marriott’s and hyatt’s, but that was not really disappointed. every single article we ate was delicious. special mention about their creamy stir and their apple-danish bakery and pain au chocolat. Can't complain about food or service, very good. But we went to the bar and I ordered two double whiskys. When they came, they hardly covered the floor of the glass. I spoke to the waiter who confirmed they were doubles. When I returned to my own hotel, I had a double there and saw it poured and it was huge compared to what confirmed to me that I had been skilled out of a lot of money. Not happy.

Tent for the family of 4 package. Children's portions well, but it looked like they were on the adult front to earn money. Husband's main was so small that it was like a beginner, so we had to back and complain. They brought a bottle of wine without saying they didn't order them. Food took 45 minutes to get out. The opera cake was beautiful and the staff apologised for the wine mistake, and fixed edition with husbands meal quickly. It was expensive.

the service was very good and the food was very nice. much nicer than we thought it was. the setting is quite cool, but in the necessity, the table surfaces, for example, are all so easily slandered. the foods for them, all very good (although the bark was somewhat under seasoned) and with some surprising touches. it is not cheap, but it is also not expensive; it is worth it. I don't say that often, even if I like a place, but I'd go again and again. View menu

Cove a table as a stay at Park Plaza, for me, wife and 8 years old son. Booked a 6 o'clock sitting, as it was early in the evening and from the moment we left, everything was brilliant. Clean, spacious for my pregnant woman, well suited music and lighting. The staff could not have been more helpful to enjoy food for a reasonable time. The service was modern without long waiting times. Even my son enjoyed the whole experience. The food was delicious and good for quality

it is hardly a romantic or quiet environment if that is what they are looking for, and once inside, it was not clear where to go. to the luck I had seen in the web that the restaurant was on the 1st stage, so I went to the escalators. here I spied a menu, but I was also in the lobby of a hotel and there were no instructions where to go next (annie had the same problem.) when I finally found the recipe table, I could not help laugh that the search for them was a very big challenge. it turned out to be a challenge that is worth taking. for brasserie joel is a destination to recommend.
