"We started with olives, which were the best I’ve ever had, and shared a smoked duck starter. The duck breast was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, though the portion was smaller than I expected. It was the perfect appetizer to prepare us for our mains. For my partner, we chose the pastrami sandwich, which we both agreed was fantastic, accompanied by some brilliant chips. I opted for the 12oz coffee-rubbed rump steak, which was cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful. It paired wonderfully with the rosemary-infused potato wedges served alongside it. We also had chicken wings that ranked among the best I’ve ever tasted, coated in a truly divine sauce. The pork belly was the highlight of the meal—tender and flavorful, glazed in a sticky, sweet, dark red sauce that was perfect for dipping with the fantastic chips. Overall, I can confidently say that my experience at The Bunch of Grapes has been one of the best meals I’ve had in a restaurant in as long as I can remember. I extend my highest compliments to the extremely talented chefs, whose passion and artistry were evident in every dish. The service was excellent and attentive. I will certainly return and highly recommend this place to everyone I know."

"My wife and I booked a table at the Cinnamon Tree on Tuesday for the Sunday early evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I checked their web site first before booking as the actual date was on the Monday. Finding out that they did not...open on Mondays we opted for the Sunday. I telephoned the restaurant and made the booking. the person on the other end of the telephone repeated my details and time date ect. We turned up at the restaurant to fined it was closed with a sign on the door stating that they did not open on Sundays and Mondays. We got back in the car and went to turn around at the back of the restaurant and I saw a door at the back of the restaurant open. I stopped the car and went to the door and found someone in the kitchen. I told them that I had booked a table for that night and he confirmed what we had found out with the notes on the door. He then telephoned the owners of the restaurant and he put me on the telephone and I spoke to the owners partner and she said they have not been open for several weeks owing to staff shortages. I asked the lady why the booking had been taken as the staff must be aware of when the restaurant is closed or open and I had gone by their web site. She replied we haven't bothered to up date our web site and will not be doing so and have not bothered to blank out Sundays on the book were the reservations are written in and just blamed the person that took the booking in the first place. Her attitude was I couldn't care less. At this point I was boiling as I have used the Cinnamon Tree for many years and have always had a good meal there. But after this episode they can go to hell I will never go there again."

"Absolutely fantastic. It's only small but the atmosphere is lovely, the owner is very attentive and food was amazing.Was a bit nervous taking our two year old but food was available and again the owner was brilliant with him. The owner/chef was there alone tonight and apologised for the wait on food (20mins between starter and main) that's less than you'd wait in a big chain restaurant. 100% would return and definitely will be recommending it to family and friends."

"The pasta dish I had with shin beef was totally tasteless lacked salt pepper herbs garlic my partner had pizza that looked cooked but was not crispy on the bottom had to eat it with a knife fork as if it was picked up as it is meant to be eaten you would have been wearing in don't bother save your money go to the worst chippy you can find we were in 30mins in that time we got served drinks ordered served food eaten paid left this is fast food on an expensive level"

"1st time at Dottys today even though I have friends who have been there lots. When you walk it it is a little like a café. Clean and average BUT the service was so so friendly, we had afternoon tea which was really lovely, plentiful and amples of tea/coffee. The lady even went out of her way to accommodate a baby that was with us. Yes its not the most spectacular tea room but the food and the service definatley make up for that. Will be back"
