"We visited the Wimbledon branch in May to celebrate my daughters birthday; it was a weekday and not very busy. Although we requested a cake they advised they could not organise anything so we brought our own. We were not welcomed at all from the moment we arrived and the waitress made us feel we were not wanted and rushed through the whole dinner; however despite the bad service, the food was good and it did not spoil the evening. Thinking it was an off night for the waitress, we went there again on Saturday. Unfortunately we had the same waitress again and much the same service I think she has her favourites as other people were not getting the same treatment! Food is good but best to go to another branch for service!!"

Went there with work colleagues. Food, wine, atmosphere was good. The only concern was when the waitress spilled a drink over one of us. Although she was very apologetic and cleaned it up, there was no offer of a discount or offer to foot the dry cleaning bill, so we didn't pay the service charge.

I was suprised by the very low level of customer service provided. Basically I felt I was not welcome and eventually moved to another reataurant where I received the expected level of customer service. This is just sad as I am French and liked Cafe Rouge before this experience. Try another Cafe rouge but avoid this one.
