"Very nice place to eat. Fantastic food, with an extensive wine, cocktail and gin list as well as a few choices of beers/ales and ciders. Staff were helpful and attentive and availablefor any menu questions/queries. Good selection of food on the menu, one of the best places I have eaten. If I was in the area again, I would definitely pick here as a first choice. Be warned that the building is an old cottage with low beams and door ways. Local car parking owned by Winchester council a short walk (5 minutes or less) away."

This is a fancy restaurant! They have a limited option for foods, but go try them. You'll love what's on your plate! The staff are so friendly too.

Food was excellent, but it is a shame that the warmest thing on this plate was the black pudding. Both the pork loin and mash could be a lot warmer.

For the first time English food tastes good. Few dishes weren't 100% purely English but also good. Gnocchi not very good, it was more like mash. Service a bit slow.

The service was excellent. The food was pretty good but didn't wow us. However the temperature was so high it was very uncomfortable and we were sat next to a table who were very loud.

Fantastic food, great staff. Well worth a visit for an exceptional food experience. I opted for the chicken main and it was the best chicken I've ever eaten! Good selection of dishes to choose from. If we're in the area again, we'll make sure we book.
