"I'd give 10 if I could. I went to the duckworth arms tonight for my brother's birthday. I reserved the table and asked to be near the window for the view. When I called, I was obviously not recommended to have a problem. we asked to take a cake and bring it out after the meal. of course they have brought out the plates that many people did not like. all staff were super and so friendly and smiling. nothing too much annoyed. this was my first time here, but absolutely not my last, since the food was delicious, was good music and we all enjoyed the whole night and all the workers and owners contributed to it. I'm looking forward to my next visit!"

Just had lunch here for first time, was busy when we arrived and had not booked a table. Lady was lovely and managed to squeeze us in. Food was great couldn’t fault it. Bar staff, serving staff all lovely. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely wonderful pub! We came in out of the rain with our two huskies and all the staff were so kind and welcoming and nothing was too much! They even got our dogs some water and they had treats too! 100% recommend here, lovely dog friendly pub. Thank you!

perfect pub for a Sunday dinner. really nice staff. I called her to say that we were running a little late after our walk, no problem at all. eating was nice, recommending the cake the crust was amazing. generous portions, large service. will definitely be back.

Called in for lunch. Welcoming staff. Cheerful and happy to help. There's a la cart menu and Cosy lunch simple menu) available. 2 courses for £12.95. Very good food ; fish chip's and mushy peas were excellent as was the Chicken bacon slices in a mushroom sauce. We will return in a few month's time
