i would rate this place five stars because the food really was outstanding. however, the owner/manager was too familiar and too touchy feely. we had grilled squid which was cooked to perfection and the shrimp risotto. it was super fresh. right in the market.

... he's usually not so fresh. So from the three fish restaurants on the nasty market, I would recommend the fish quarter least. the prices are as high as the others - the quality unfortunately not. the service is very friendly and accommodating. quality and taste of eating unfortunately satisfactory.

WOW, you have to meet the charming, entertaining, fascinating Albert! Co-owner of this fabulous fish restaurant, he gave the five of us the time of our lives! Everyone's food was excellent, great wine list, cocktails, drinks etc, delicious desserts, all in a lovely atmosphere of this renowned area - a must do!

average meal, for a plate of calamars to 17.90 euros, and a plate of mussel (without fries) to 18.80 euros, the owner allowed us to charge 10% of the note in tip without asking us our opinion, or 4.70 euros!! while it already invoices you the cover at 1.90 euros per person!! You will already pay 10 euros without eating anything! Too bad it's falling on German speaking French!!

in the fun and crowded historical market naschmarkt, near the small square of the secession, wind up stalls and small kiosks turned into tractors. the quality of food is excellent. I ate oysters better than a parisian and an excellent grill of fish in this place where at most ten people are. In the good season you can also eat outside standing in front of banquets. is not cheap, but the quality is remarkable

Found this small restaurant while strolling around the Naschmarkt this past week. It is connected to the fresh fish monger that backs onto the restaurant. The quality of the food and presentation were among the best I have ever had. Went with the turbot as the main course and cheese cake for desert. Both were delicious. The staff were very service conscious and attentive. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Love the nauchmarkt. Chose this tiny place because it's a fish market on one side and fine dining on the other. I had the best sea bass ever and my husband loved the risotto which had lobster and shrimp in profusion. The whole place seats maybe twelve people inside in winter but expands to 80 with warmer weather. Service was intimate and responsive to requests. The English translation of the dish I ordered was way off and they went out of their way to keep me happy.

Went there on a Friday night - made no reservations, walked right in and Albert made room for us. Very small but extremely cozy place. Had a great wiener schnitzel and saw the neighbouring table had what seemed like the most fantastic fish dish which we definitely want to come back and try.The waiter, Albert, makes an incredible Rocky Balboa impersonation and made a very entertaining impression on us. There was an excellent atmosphere and the chemistry between the personnel was very amusing and made for an even greater night.

We've tried a lot in the markt. and all more or less try to attract tourists. Although we arrived after 21:00, the welcome was warm. the menu quite varied. But the heat of the waiters soon turned into a socket for the backbones! in a risotto with seafood there was really little rice, to one of our complaints (so where is rice)? the waiter took off the fork and indicated the little rice. Then he walked away, called the other waiter and laughed! The typical Viennese cutlet seemed to have been fried in the oil of the mixed fried fish. the so-called mixed fish dish for 3 people. at most it was just over 2. what else to add? less bad the company was great!
