"We stopped at this restaurant for lunch during our journey with our 10-month-old baby. We chose this place because it had a soft play area for our little one. Kelsey greeted us and took great care of us and our baby. She was attentive and interacted with us throughout our visit. However, halfway through our meal, we witnessed a negative interaction between Kelsey and her manager. He appeared to be passive-aggressive and criticized her for supposedly not doing her job properly. This made us feel uncomfortable and we found it unprofessional. It seemed like he wanted to embarrass her in front of customers. It would have been a perfect experience if not for this incident. Bad management skills should be addressed through proper channels, rather than publicly reprimanding staff. Overall, aside from this unfortunate interaction, we had a great time and would have given a 5-star rating."

Nice food, better than most pub grub we've experienced recently. Good service and pleasant staff. Definitely visit again.

Fantastic deal on over the summer. Really good price for our family of four to eat for £15. Service was good and the team were very friendly.

I went to this restaurant with some friends for lunch. We ended up waiting 45 minutes for our meals. The toilets were in terrible condition - the door didn't lock, the toilet paper dispenser was blocked, and the toilet seat wasn't secure. View menu

Visited on Monday evening for some food and I can’t fault the service and atmosphere (and the food! . We had a lovely waitress, Paula, who was lovely and attentive and we were really impressed with the level of service here. Will definitely be going back soon!

can’t fault the cleanliness and food beer options here. Some great family deals particularly when cost of living is high! great to meet friends and let the kids play either on the soft play or outdoors and burn some energy! staff all friendly and will accommodate as much as possible! good visit

Went for lunch, we had the gluten free bacon cheese burger and burger sizzler combo, both were delicious and could tell they had been cooked fresh. Service was exceptional, the manager took our order at the till and was extremely helpful with recommending alternative gluten free sides with the burger. Would highly recommend.

I ordered the 3 x 5oz gammon steak with corn on the cob and fries at this budget-friendly restaurant. While I understand that this is not a high-end dining establishment, I was disappointed with the quality of the food. The gammon steaks were served raw, with one of them being completely raw in the middle. I returned it to the bar, and they were kind enough to replace it with a properly cooked meal. The management offered me a free coffee or soft drink as a gesture of goodwill. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

"We choose this spot because of the many positive reviews. I guess we turned up on a bad day!I have only been introduced to coffee a few years ago despite being in my mid 50’s and really don’t like coffee unless a well made flat white. I travel the world frequently for work and always ask the same question, can you make a flat white? The reason being unless the person is a passionate barista I rarely get a coffee I enjoy. This question clearly upset the lady serving us who ‘rolled her eyes out loud’ by the question and then represented the request to her colleague in a manner that was more like ‘we have a pain in the arse’ than ‘can we make this gentleman a nice coffee. (Yes we overheard).Everything was fine except the flat white was a milky coffee and not something I enjoyed. Not a problem though. I never said a word but when asked at the counter how things were I thought I would say everything was good except the ‘flat white’. Immediately confronted by both in very hostile way was very surprising as I was only answering a question I thought they were interested in hearing I placed a review on their website and their response is a really good example of their attitude. Instead of focusing on service recovery they wanted to blame me and absolve themselves of any responsibility.I of course mentioned this to a few people in Sleaford and surprise surprise was met with very similar responses, ‘we don’t go there anymore as the staff can be very rude’ Looking forward to seeing how the proprietors decide to respond to this one."
