"Mixed review. Best dosa in Watford by far. No confusion or hassle like other dosa houses in Watford. Eaten in here before and it's cosy with friendly staff. The owner is a real gentleman. This is my second time ordering food from the Ganesha restaurant. I decided to go with the thali at £10.95 per head it's a bargain. The food was tasty but way too spicy for my wife. I like my curry on the spicy side. The portion sizes were good but too much rice for two people. They could easily substitute with another dish. The sweet vermicelli was lush, but needed more of it. The vaida was excellent too. Probably wouldn't order the thali again unless I was on my own. Like I said, I highly recommend their dosa, noodles, matar paneer, and iddly as have ordered them before and they were superb. Just be warned. If you chose spicy, you're going to get really spicy! Overall I like Ganesha restaurant and we used to eat in their many years ago. Lovely people that run the place."

Got a lunch deal, rice, mutton curry dhal and veg curry. The best curry I’ve ever had. Tasted fresh and home cooked. Not drenched in oil like most curry’s

Ganesha has to be the best value for money restaurant in Watford. The food is lovely, especially devilled chicken masala dosa. A must try, but make sure you eat in!

Had been there with my friends two times. First time we ordered some vegetable biryani And second time i ordered chickhen lollipops. Had terrible food poisoning both times.Have gone through vomitings and motions and had to visit gp. I thought when it happened for the first time may b its not bcoz of ganesha food. But after second time am damn sure its because of their food. The restaurant management please be careful about your food quality and hyginene as ur playing with people lifes.

We went for a family (9 people) meal on a Sunday, and we were treated to some absolutely delicious Sri lankan South Indian food. We had a huge variety on our table, and every dish was highly praised by the person eating it, I had the most delicious Paneer Masala Dosa while looking on in jealousy at my daughters vegetable Thali. The service was amazing, the waiter did so well to listen to my in laws bend his ear about sri lankan food 'back home ' and they were so impressed with the food they ordered takeaway as well. Really great value, friendly, delicious, we will definitely be returning soon, I have my eyes on a vegetable thali tray!
