"I had lunch here on Saturday 29th November 2014, with my 9 year old son (who is not vegan/vegetarian), and my eldest daughter who is vegetarian and slowly becoming vegan. I am vegan and both myself and my daughter find it very difficult to eat out because there are very few places that serve vegetarian food (omelette or salads are the usual choices) and I have yet to find a vegan choice on a menu. So to be able to eat at this adorable little restaurant and have both choices made available to us was terrific. It is a really quaint little establishment, tucked away down an olde worlde alley in centre ville. The decor is retro and my son was intrigued by the posters and various old toys on display. I loved the shabby chic tables, chairs and benches and the whole place exudes charm, warmth and friendliness. The staff were so helpful and always smiling, they spoke English and French, and the service was impeccable. Jess and I had the most delicious vegan curry with a glass of Bio red wine, followed by vegan cheesecake to die for! Jacques had a toasted cheese sandwich, which was not on the menu, but they did if for him especially because he is a fussy eater, and a big glass of Bio apple juice. Jacques especially loved the big wooden fork we were handed that had Good Karma written on it....this was used to go up to the counter to make our orders and for when I paid the bill. Just these lovely little touches went a long way to making it an extra special treat for us. The meal was very reasonably priced and I cannot praise this establishment highly enough. They are part of a small chain, family owned and run, and the next time I am in Caen I will be eating at Dolly's Restaurant and Pancake Night Fever as well, so look out for more reviews from me about these restaurants. Absolutely fabulous....anyone who likes delicious, healthy and ethical eating should most certainly dine here!"

What a great place. Once you go through the door, you will be embraced with a living feeling of peace. Laughter flows around you before you taste the food, which is by the way!

As a vegetarian, I'd been meaning to stop by GG for a while. After I did, I wondered why it had taken me so long. The food was phenomenal! These people really understand what vegetarian and vegan cooking is! It's definitely very rich, delicious food. It is a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it.

Lovely cafe, lovely food, all vegan - a must go lunch destination. 4 or so menu options, all sounded delicious - wish I could have come back the next day and tried more! What we did order was delicious. I also had a cake pudding and it was lovely too. Well worth making a special trip for any vegans travelling nearby.

Wonderful experience off from the trouble of the tourism, tiny street with lovely details everywhere! The food is vegetarian and it was amazing, so many different flavors on one plate! The homemade juices are also super delicious! Service and people there more than friendly and smiling all over, I guess its comes from the food :

visit the couple, not very welcoming but delicious meals, hearty, service more than pleasant servurs to the top, kitchen to the top, special decoration but not for the least warm! I am neither vegan u vegetarian however from the good nanny i am neither vegan nor vegetarian that is said to be good eating remains good eating, nothing more to say than my compliments to the brilliant cook and server, we took the greedy plate for 2 people! would recommend it very much!

What a fantastic find, we just stopped at Caen for dinner on the way to the ferry and stumbled over this place. It is at the end of a small side street from the main road, but you cannot miss the colorful lights outside. The food is fantastic and very fresh, it is all vegan but would recommend to everyone, I am neither vegan nor vegetarian. My wife is vegetarian so that this place after a week in France, where the elections for her may not be as good as the United Kingdom. The fresh juices were also great. The staff is very friendly and helpful with fantastic English. Would highly recommend.
