"Petit restaurant a l'écart, calme, très mignon, Jolie déco. L'accueil et très agréable et chaleureux, nous n'avions pas réservé, mais avons eu de la chance, car les 2 service été complet ensuite. Les tarifs super raisonnable pour la qualité des produits, une cuisine recherchée et goûteuse, beaucoup de saveurs et d'originalité, pas d'attente pour le service, la salle complète, la patronne et vraiment très agréable, malgré le monde elle prend le temps pour discuter. La quantité des assiettes et très bien. Et beaucoup d'originalité, nous avons pris cassolette escargots et quenelles de volaille à l'estragon, saumon confit a base température, froid aux agrumes et gingembre, rognons de veau cuit à l'etouffe, bouillon de tomates et poivrons doux aux courgettes, pavé de veau a la plancha jus au cidre et pomelos et parfait au citron vert et fraises marinées. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant."

"Le choix est large dans la rue pour pouvoir manger et notre choix s'est fait selon les critiques de Trip'. Effectivement, les avis convergent mais notre souhait était de manger selon le menu proposé à 21€ : entrée/plat/dessert. La quantité n'est pas réellement là mais le soin de la présentation de l'assiette est bien présent. J'ai mangé le croustillant aux pommes et fromages et en plat, joue de porcs accompagné de ses pâtes de forme ronde (m'en souvient plus du nom !). Voir les photos pour tout comprendre !Leur cocktail maison est cher 9€ mais fait à base de champagne. Ceci explique cela. Mais frais et topissime. Par contre, service très mitigé entre (apparemment) entre professionnels et des saisonniers. Perso, j'ai adoré notre serveuse souriante, présente et bien serviable."

"We went to this restaurant to celebrate the anniversary of one of our friends last Saturday. The waitress was very nice at the beginning and at the end of a great coldness. It's still important the relationship in a restaurant. The advice provided by the waitress was not relevant to the fact that a beef tartare is either saying better when it is made to the machine compared to a cut to the knife. It starts badly, but with 3 of my friends, we still get tempted by this dish....The dessert when it had nothing exceptional, a cream burnt without interest and without natural vanilla....Besides the tapas that were excellent. The rest of the kitchen leaves to be desired...Break a nice disappointment for this restaurant that spoiled the evening to my two friends and myself who chose the tartare because in the two hours that followed we had a horrible stomachache...I don't recommend this restaurant."

"Fine and tasty meals. We see the chef's leg well: the ingredients are of quality, the recipes are worked, there is imagination with what it takes to be sobriety. Very honest restaurant on all levels: the decor is hot, the casual welcome, the dishes at good temperature is not the case everywhere and it can ruin everything. , the correct price with regard to pleasure and in addition we do not feel impatience even if we drag gradually: I think I said everything so you could leave."

"I had lunch here on Saturday 29th November 2014, with my 9 year old son (who is not vegan/vegetarian), and my eldest daughter who is vegetarian and slowly becoming vegan. I am vegan and both myself and my daughter find it very difficult to eat out because there are very few places that serve vegetarian food (omelette or salads are the usual choices) and I have yet to find a vegan choice on a menu. So to be able to eat at this adorable little restaurant and have both choices made available to us was terrific. It is a really quaint little establishment, tucked away down an olde worlde alley in centre ville. The decor is retro and my son was intrigued by the posters and various old toys on display. I loved the shabby chic tables, chairs and benches and the whole place exudes charm, warmth and friendliness. The staff were so helpful and always smiling, they spoke English and French, and the service was impeccable. Jess and I had the most delicious vegan curry with a glass of Bio red wine, followed by vegan cheesecake to die for! Jacques had a toasted cheese sandwich, which was not on the menu, but they did if for him especially because he is a fussy eater, and a big glass of Bio apple juice. Jacques especially loved the big wooden fork we were handed that had Good Karma written on it....this was used to go up to the counter to make our orders and for when I paid the bill. Just these lovely little touches went a long way to making it an extra special treat for us. The meal was very reasonably priced and I cannot praise this establishment highly enough. They are part of a small chain, family owned and run, and the next time I am in Caen I will be eating at Dolly's Restaurant and Pancake Night Fever as well, so look out for more reviews from me about these restaurants. Absolutely fabulous....anyone who likes delicious, healthy and ethical eating should most certainly dine here!"
