"The food was good but not exceptional. The portions were big, I couldn't eat it all which is unusual as we didn't do the usual over order. I would say its very good value and very acceptable, but I am always looking for that something special with the spices in an Indian which this didn't quite deliver. But I would go back and try again as it was Friday night and not always the best night to try an Indian."

This dining experience was by chance as we were looking for an Indian restaurant in the area. A nice meal for a last minute booking. Authentic and food was reasonable, but not one I would rush back for.

Lovely meal, good service. Can get expensive if you add in beers. They charge for poppadoms and chutney separately I've never encountered this before. I would definitely eat here again. Bull and Gate is nice for a beer after.

The food quality was very good and there was an interesting selection on the menu to choose from. The main dishes are good as individual dishes but if you are considering sharing they have a small number of large meat portions which is not ideal for sharing. That said I think it was good value for money.
