Highland Gate Stirling

Nice place! Great service from Lewis Brown! Helpful and took my food allergy very serious. They have an online allergy menu. Atmosphere was a pub vibe but newer. Food is good and priced reasonably. Nice for all ages, even kids.

The staff here was amazing! We had a large group arrive late and they made sure we all had beautiful accommodations and an amazing dinner! The dinner was superb! All 17 of us loved every minute of our stay and every bite of food!

Staff very polite and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Evening meal good. Breakfast perhaps too much choice therefore not such good standard .. eggs over cooked, ordered poached but only got one and the other guest in our party ordered two poached eggs and received only one fried!

Good value, clean and tidy hotel. Staff lovely. Rooms are great size and beds very comfortable. Breakfast that keeps you going all day without being hungry, and reasonably priced. Really enjoyed our stay, and will be recommending friends that may be travelling through sterling to stop here.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our lunch. It was very tasty and great portion size. Our server Brandon was excellent from the moment we arrived and even though it was busy, he was on point with attentive service but never too pushy. He very much has a wonderful knowledge of the menu too. A very pleasant experience for us both.

We stayed here for a few nights away and could not fault the exemplary service we received. Rooms were very tidy and food was excellent. Servers were all brilliant and went out of their way to ensure that we were satisfied. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks to all the staff here particularly Jo and Olivia who were so helpful.

We were checked in by Grace, very friendly and helpful. We booked an evening meal to which she was also our waitress.Grace was very knowledgeable about Stirling and shared some of her knowledge with us. There was a lovely friendly feel to the pub and decorated to a high standard. Would definitely recommend. Well done to the whole team.

A few back it was my best friends birthday. I phoned and asked if I come bring a cake as part of celebration. I was told that was no Trouble. The whole staff throughout the entire meal were very prompt. They went above and beyond their duties. A real credit to themselves and the establishment. They helped mark a very special occasion and I can’t thank them enough! Thank you all so much.

Key cards weren’t working during my stay but staff were prompt in getting me access to my room. Room was spotlessly clean and warm with tea and biscuits. Food at the bar was very nice, staff polite and attentive to detail. Though as a lone traveller would prefer not to sit in the family area. Breakfast choice was good, freshly made cooked breakfast very enjoyable. I had a 9:00 am meeting so I found the service quite slow.
