What to say... you are welcomed by chef Aversa with a “welcome” that makes you feel right at home. Excellent service, professional, attentive, wonderfully groomed and clean. If you're in Sorrento and looking for a special meal, I would definitely get a reservation here. There were far fewer patrons here and it was a much needed reprieve from the chaos of Sorrento. It was quote relaxing and tranquil. We accidentally stumbled upon Il Buco and decided to make a reservation. The tasting menu (we did the I Trust You) was absolutely worth it and quite fun!

We came here to celebrate our honeymoon and while the atmosphere and service were outstanding we found the food a bit underwhelming unfortunately. We both did the sea tasting menu. Presentation was good but in terms of taste most dishes were just “okay”. The first few actually lacked salt which we found surprising for a restaurant of this calibre. I’m not sure we got great value out of this dinner but it was nice to get away from the chaos and crowds of Sorrento for an evening. View menu
