"We had made a reservation at The Wilderness a while back, but unfortunately our plans were disrupted by COVID. Finally, we were able to visit for lunch on Saturday, and it was definitely worth the wait. We chose the ten-course tasting menu along with a couple of glasses of their 'hacked' wines. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco and water, and our meal began. The variety of dishes was outstanding; from crispy pig cheek with apricot gel, to steak tartare, turbot, and mackerel. Standout dishes included a delicious beetroot ice-cream with a rich ajoblanco, and a fantastic mushroom and 'bread pudding' that was like a gourmet version of mushrooms on toast. The service was excellent, each course was tasty, and the wines, especially the Chardonnay 2.0 and the Vermouth, were top-notch. While the meal was on the pricier side, the quality of the food, service, ambiance, and music made it all worthwhile."

"The best peruvian restaurant in the UK! This is definitely the place to eat anything peruvian. The food here is not only authentic but is presented in an artistic way. "Decent sushi, props to the chef. We had the sushi master selection for two people (28 pieces of assorted sushi, 2 miso soups and bottomless green tea) and some tuna sashimi at the end which came to £26 altogether which is a reasonable price for sushi from what I've seen. It's a small stall in the bullring fish market run by just the chef so it has an authentic feel and a nice atmosphere. I would recommend Otoro sushi however I suggest booking ahead as it is always busy."

"Miller Carter Mailbox is a fantastic spot for steak and cocktails if you’re in Birmingham. From the moment I arrived, the team was warm and welcoming, making the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable. I didn’t have to wait long for my food everything was served promptly and with great attention to detail. I ordered the medium ribeye steak, and it was cooked to absolute perfection, juicy, flavourful, and tender. I also had a cocktail called Strawberry Fields, with a touch of elderflower, and it was truly mind-blowing, refreshing and beautifully balanced. The table and surroundings were spotless, and the quality of the meat was very impressive. I would also like to give a special mention to Renee, who looked after my table with exceptional care and professionalism. Additionally, I had the pleasure of meeting Kiran, Ayush, and Atharva, members of the kitchen team, who were incredibly welcoming and clearly dedicated to delivering food to the highest standard. Thank you to the entire team for making my visit so enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!
