"Located just outside the actual town of Trassenheide, just behind the dunes of the Baltic Sea. From outside rather inconspicuous, in the middle of the forest, so it surprises inside and opens to amazing size. The pretty main restaurant, as well as a light-flooded conservatory and a Mediterranean planted terrace, make it a difficult to select the suitable seat. Fresh flowers on the tables, fabric napkins and tablecloths strengthen the first good impression. The menu offers a wide selection of regional wild and fish, which is supplemented by a season ticket depending on the season. We felt the point: Appetizer Pomeranian seasonings fine 4.50 Euro main dishes Kutterscholle with crooked roast potatoes and mixed salad very good 15.50 Euro Rothirschkalbsbraten with homemade clubs, cranberries and vegetables butterzart deer calves, tasty clubs bathed in Mel ample sauce 17.50 Euro The friendly, competent service gladly explained how the tasty sauce is made to the plaice, which meant this or that type of preparation ....... was thought up with a lush tip. Here we enjoyed so much service, ambience, favorable price performance ratio, not as overflowing as the locals in the center and the promenade ... so that we returned 2 days later to coffee and cakes on the way back from the beach. This time we were spoiled with apple strudel and egg liqueur 3.70 euros, plum stew cake 1.80 euros, as well as with Latte Macchiato and milk coffee. This time too, the very friendly service, the good price performance ratio, the good taste. No wonder the restaurant was booked almost daily, and many regular guests have come for years."

"For me 3-star hotel with wellness area, but also not. Conclusion: There are more beautiful, central and cheaper alternatives where you can book. Wellness can also be booked as a non-hotel guest. Travel price is completely due at check-in and the cancellation conditions are customer-free regarding the periods. Bathroom with glass door – so with coffee in the small kitchen, you can watch your family at the shop (taste thing). We booked 2.5 months before: (2 weeks/2 children)-2 ÜN/HP /2 room family apartment incl. pirate package. By timely booking we paid 170,00 EUR more than price 3 weeks before travel date. Hotel proved its current prices. We did not find a reference to this on the website and, as we all know, families depend on certain travel times and also certain room sizes. So families in the FAMILIENHOTEL have to go deeper into their pockets when booking early, if they want to make holiday there. PARKING PAYMENTS for a fee. Still NOT cleared with snow and ice. FAMILYHOTEL: The pirate island is advertised here as a playground on the hotel website. From 2023 only for hotel guests. Probably it is a general playground that does not belong to the hotel. I can't make an assessment of the playground, was snowy. Also watched for the animation program (divided into suggested age groups). If you don't sign up, you've had bad luck. We had to see that families with children were sent away at the Stockbrot, as they did not register before. A tip to the hotel. Maybe just make a little more dough – you are titled yourself as a family hotel. I could not find an offer for the proposed age group Teens. Meals are ok, but you should be able to dispense with really warm food. Possibilities for 4 people are also limited. A reservation is lt. Personnel available only from 6 pers. The one family must have celebrated for 3 days because the place was always reserved for them. However, the note card at the table is just on the buffet or we are back on other adventures. WELLNESS: selection of different applications that are also very good. The staff was very friendly, but if it is trained, I dare to doubt. The pool with 6x8m is very small. Buttons for waterfall do not work. It's overcrowded with 20 people. 4 star hotel: There are minimum requirements that a hotel must meet. Mr. at Check Inn was unmotivated/generated and you did not receive all the necessary information, e.g., that our wellness application booked in advance was relocated. In principle, the personnel are not open to criticism of a negative nature. It will only be noted with a ‘Ah ok’ and not discussed further. IMPORTANT: The complete price is required at check-in. There were some guests who wondered about it at Check In. Staff had a standard set “The check out is therefore faster and easier for the guest”. In my opinion, total nonsense, but rather to give complaints from the way. And there were some of them. As mentioned at meals, there is still a lot of potential up for 4 stars. The equipment of the rooms is partly 4 stars but mainly 3 stars. (single size: 3 chairs/4 persons; 3xNight table available, but the wardrobe becomes unusable; Suitcases–in the wardrobe so hanging up clothes drops away; generous storage area in the bathroom–I missed; 2 toothbrush cups/4 persons; double bed were single beds that slowly moved apart at night; the TÜV of the closing mechanism of our room door had expired in March 2022, etc... Unfortunately no more place, but the list is long"

"I wanted to go to dinner with my family at 18.30. I had already reserved a one week in advance. when we arrived at the restaurant, it was said that I had reserved an outside table. it is better to book via phone after this event instead of using the internet. I could prove that this was wrong with the outside table and we got a table in the interior after a certain time. then everything was done quickly. then our orders were added. just as my sister wanted to order the entrecote, it was immediately said that there would be no more. we then ordered a four times the 250gbeef. this worked first. only after a whole past came a nice young man to tell us the hiobs message that there would be only three roastbeef a 250g. my sister then took the 180g roastbeef. the food was very tasty and the rest of the evening was without special events. but that's it at 18.45. various steaks are no longer available, can't actually be. Finally, guests who want to eat steak in a steak house will also come later. everything in all, I can say that we had much better evenings there. something like that can happen, the next time it'll be better."

"Ich besuchte das Restaurant aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen mit meiner Mutter. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, das Ambiente für diese Preisklasse mehr als ok. Die Bestellungen wurden zügig aufgenommen und das erste Essen kam sehr zügig. Leider musste ich auf meine Lasagne länger warten, was bei einem gemeinsamen Essen natürlich nicht optimal ist. Auch war in meiner Lasagne mehr Soße als Lasagne wovon ein erwachsener Mann leider nicht satt wird. Zumindest wurde aber Brot gereicht. Das Essen ist preislich günstig, aber aufgrund der Menge auch nicht mehr Wert. Eine Cola für 4,20€ ist dagegen frech. Vom Geschmack her war das Essen in Ordnung, man darf es aber eben nicht mit einem Italiener vergleichen wo die Lasagne usw 15€ statt 8,90€ kosten. Auch kommt es mir so vor, dass Einheimische anders behandelt werden als Urlauber, ist mir zumindest aufgefallen. Alles in allem kann man dort schon Essen gehen, es war sauber und ordentlich, allerdings vom Essen her kein Highlight."

"Unfortunately, I cannot share the previous positive response! Proceeding from the fact that the restaurant does not have its own parking space and it is therefore forced as a traveler to park the car near the restaurant. After a warm welcome to the service, from my side, not to notice much positive. The dishes were dressed appealingly on the plates, but in my case the fish caught a bit to cross. After eating the food and appearance of the service we were asked for our satisfaction. In truth, I have spoken about these points, and I have not received the impression that this is really of interest to the operation. To my happiness, I did not visit this village alone, as I was punished more or less with ignorance from that time and was no longer worthy of a view. Unfortunately for me no nice evening there and with certainty without return!"
