"The context: table not reserved for 3 people on a Saturday, we arrive early 6:40 p.m., the person at the reception lets us place or we wanted with a child. We feel that they are waiting for a big service, as the organization is top! there are the staff who go with it so that it turns well. Warm welcome,just the welcome is worth a visit! Cozy atmosphere, quite friendly, At table, the staff is at the top, relaxed, Point cuisine: correct, plate very well done, copyy. Dessert nice Thanks to you for this moment out of time Ps: the toilets are atypical and are to be discovered typed railway station to the tap"

"Arrived today and had reservation at the restaurant for this evening , were running a bit late so emailed them to ask to postpone for 30 mins, quick response with "no problem madam , all done for you" - so first good point , fast and active communication .We came on time (6 adults plus my 9 months old daughter ). Table waiting , baby chair ready , we all jet lagged so no wine or offer alcohol we say - ok , that's it , no more annoying "you sure you don't want to see the wine menu" business . As my husband is allergic to prawns and we all do not eat pork (as I stated that originally in the reservation ) our host double checked who is allergic to prawns and what other allergies or requests we have, here , another positive - they read what you let them know in your reservation !Now , the place itself - is gorgeous . Yes , it is on the side of the road , yet that did not seem to faze anyone : beautiful olive treats , open terrace with curly wild grape instead of thr roof , gorgeous jasmine smell ( coincidence my daughter is named Yasmeen ). Not too many tables outside and inside , yet you have plenty of space . Several menues going : a la carte, surprise menu , set menu ...all very in amount of dishes you get and prices. We opted for a la carte . So first chefs gift is note size snacks : cheese madeleines, broccoli and vinegar tart ( super nice as broccoli still crunchy and hint of vinegar is just strong enough to come through) , then followed truffle foam served in little cups as if that was green tea !My squid made two ways ( one chef's take on deep fried and the other is marinated ) as a garnish came along seviche ( raw squid bits with cucumber , mint and spices ) and boy did it raise the dish - refreshing , tingling , not overpowering taste of mint yum yum !Another starter was asparagus gnocchi - tender and one bit size with some eatable gold on top , definitely worth a try . Most interesting starter that my husband had was porcini mushrooms tart - not only beautifully presented little cake with thinnest slices of mushroom "kings " the purée or sauce inside ( mushrooms with veg and spices - almost like a mashed potato but mushroom - loving it !Main courses had both meat and fish options. I opted for veal sweetbreads -most delicate with crunchy bits and absolutely winner of a sauce : veal with some braised onion !Another great starter was the beef . Granted , there is no rocket science in making a great steak, in theory , but practice often proves us wrong . This meat was so tender and delicate , it literally melted in my mouth - so delicious yet bold dish - steak on a bed of ground black pepper : simple and beautiful !Fillet of turbot was cooked to perfection , working on the contrast with the bed of green beans it was served on. Deserts . Oh deserts . The host did ask us for our preferences in the beginning of the meal , as 4 out of 7 deserts take 45 mins to cook :) Personally , I opted for a trio of apricots : soufflé with apricot jam on the bottom , apricot sorbet with cold early grey tea and raw apricot and raw almond tart . Honestly , dish of the day ! So light , not at all sweet , beautiful presentation ! Another winner was lemon : as meringue and with thin pan cake like crust - wakes you up better than coffee! Which we did order after and yet you get more sweets : surprise ! That raspberry and pistachio tart with raspberry chard is still dancing in front of my eyes ! Those simple combinations , yet taken to the new level ! As we waiting for the bill (yes came up to 700€ but no one expects anything else choosing place as such ) there comes Michael Fulci himself to ask customers about their food - how pretty darn good is that ? ! Honestly , I couldn't fault it if I wanted to. So much positive experience : the food , the atmosphere , the people - family friendly by the way as apart from my 9 months old baby , there was another family with 2 kids slightly older. No snobby faces , all staff are smiling , food is so up there ! Will be definitely going back and as someone who has visited various Michelin starred restaurants in Europe , I am save to say this one is amongst my top 3!!Bravo!"

"We initially came here for a drink during the early afternoon, while the drinks, mojitos, were nicely made and tasted good, the service was incredibly slow, I am not one to complain but we almost felt ignored and the restaurant was not busy at all.We returned the next day thinking it may have been an off day, this time we came in the evening with the thought we would potentially have dinner here if the drink service had improved as the menu sounded delicious. Again, there were maybe three tables of people already with food and we opted for a couple of drinks while looking over the menu, I asked for a raspberry mojito, it had been 15 minutes waiting in a not busy restaurant until the waiter came back to tell me there was no raspberry, I then asked for a strawberry instead and it was another 15 minutes or so until our drinks (two people) arrived, we were just about to leave without the drinks due to the wait and left after deciding not to eat there due to he service.It was a shame as the food at nearby tables looked delicious, I would not return here as although the drinks were nice, I'd has drinks that tasted just as good at other locations."

"5 of us on a busy Thursday, the view was excellent and the sun was going down.... A warm and hearty welcome from Marie and a menu with the best from the Italian kitchen... Home made pastas and a twist from the French, a menu suggestion, Foie gras and Saltimbocca, perfect choice for two of us, the remaining three took different pastas and the queen here was the ravioli with truffle sauce, finishing with a selection of homemade Canolis and Tiramisu, Panna Cotta and Chocolate mousse.... We were and are real happy people right now. AND we will be back"

"we discovered this place according to a carefully chosen schedule to avoid a long waiting. 14:15. Indeed a few days before we had not been able to access a table because already the access to the restaurant was unclear: tables are placed a few cm from what resembles the entrance of the restaurant or access terrace. we stayed long minutes next to other customers without anyone coming to worry about us. Finally an employee we imagine seasonally told us that the tail was on the sidewalk facing the restaurant. We'll find more glamorous. The second out of rush attempt was more conclusive. less customers but service a little pushy. aperitif served after a certain time by the employee at the bar who folded badly thanks to the commands of the quite dynamic server him!pizzas very correct, spritz served with a piece of watermelon and orange puck. You are warned, avoid the classic time slots"
