"The restaurant is situated beyond the gate to the city and, as a result can be easily missed. After going down some steps there is a pleasant courtyard where the food is served (weather permitting - although there is indoor accommodation). We went for the menu of the day which represented reasonable value for France these days. There was a reasonable choice on the menu with four (I think) main choices My wife chose the simple option of an omelette - which she enjoyed and I had a faux filet with frites and a green salad served with a tasty sauce which I enjoyed. My wife had the house wine which she said was good and we had a large bottle of sparkling water at an acceptable cost. We took cheese as a dessert - local Rocamadour goats' cheese which was very tasty. The service was excellent, fairly quick and very pleasant - they even listened to my bad French without chipping in with English. Overall I would recommend the restaurant; it is tourist stuff but you will probably get a good meal at acceptable prices."

Had familly lunch during rocamadour visit. The restaurant has a nice shady terrasse. Price is a bit expensive but the food is good and service is quick enough.

The restaurant has lovely sheltered outdoor tables, surrounded by greenery and flowers. Service was good, prices reasonable and the food highlighted local specialities. The tarts were particularly good - we enjoyed both the apple and the walnut tarts.

New venue for us this one. Food was good - great cassoulet, lovely salmon with curry sauce but the vegetable soup had no salt and was not enjoyable. Desserts of gateaux noix and walnut icecream were delicious. So waht ruined it a little bit? Well it was expensive for basic food but its Rocamadour so I guess you should expect that. But the worst bit for all of us were the flies. They were absolutely everywhere and we all spent the whole meal wafting flies off our food - Im sure they could do something about this.

Good service the outside was busy, but we wanted to be inside given it was so hot: and it was lovely and cool and quiet in there. The staff were good and appreciated us trying to speak French. Isaac (16) tried a pizza...with gesiers (chicken gizzards)......nor sure he'll have them again! Poppy (16) a reine pizza huge and she almost managed to finish it! My wife had a mushroom omelette which she said was delicious.... And I had confit duck parmentier (basically a mashed potato topped pie: really tasty, but I could have done with more pie and less greens (greens occupied about 80% of the plate) great value, and attentive service......just too many flies! (suggest the owner invests in a fly ele...

"Myself and my partner strolled in to this bar restaurant after a really lovely time around Rocamoudour. We greater the lady behind the bar with a polite "Boujour" of which she didn't peel herself away from her phone as we walked past to the balcony area with the view. After a few minutes my partner decided to walk up to the bar as there were numbers on the table and we weren't sure if we needed to order the drinks ourselves or if it was table service. When he got to the entrance he was quickly shooed away and spoken to in French. After cleaning several tables she finally came to take our order, at this point we were the only customers. When she arrived with the drinks I asked her if we could have the wifi code of which she responded rather abruptly "non", which we thought was rather odd as the wifi code was named after the bar but we didn't mind. After this we carried on enjoying our drinks and a gentleman walked passed us with an arm full of tobacco and greeted us with a smile and good evening in French. However the women who had been rude to us went on to talk about my partner walking up to the door and how she was in a middle one another order and calling him all sorts of swear words in French very loudly that I could understand being half French. At this point we started walking out and only paid for one beer after a small argument of realising to their horror that I could speak AND understand French"
