We visited for the first time on Wednesday with some friends and will definitely return on our next trip to Swanage. There are the most delicious and amazing selections of cakes and scones. The portions are a good size. The taste of the items is delicious. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Called in with my friend for a slice of cake and a drink. I had the passionfruit raspberry and white cocolate cake and my friend had the hummingbird cake. Both cakes were absolutely beautiful so soft and moist and full of flavour. Staff were absolutely lovely and the venue was clean and very cute. They also have a fabulous selection of condiments to buy and I ended up spending a fortune on some really amazing dips, chutneys and drizzles. Which I'm very much looking forward to trying. Didn 't get a great vibe from this place. The cake and coffee were okay but very overpriced. It was boiling hot as well, with tables cramped next to each other. Staff were also a lot more friendly and attentive towards locals/regulars than non locals. We were obvious out of towners and found the service quite cold. When we entered, we waited a while to be acknowledged by staff. When they finally did, they didn 't greet us or crack a smile when we greeted them.
