"Visited at lunchtime for a bar snack and coffee for two. Not everything on the displayed menu was available, so we settled on pulled pork and chips with courgette fritters; along with two flat whites because cappuccinos and lattes were off. The pulled pork and...chips were served in metal pie tins, Into each tin (which only measured about 13cm x 8cm x 3cm) were crammed around 6 chips, a small amount of pulled pork and a tasty BBQ sauce. We were however offered melted cheese and some bacon, which I'm glad we took up to boost the small portions. Each of these cost us £5.50. The courgette fritters were 4 wafer-thin (and I mean wafer-thin) strips of fried courgette, each no more than 18cm long, and a salsa sauce served in a mini dipping sauce pot, plus 4 small lettuce leaves. This would have cost £4.50, but came as part of a 3 bar snacks for £12 offer so only cost £1 and it really was worth no more than that. With a total cost of £17, no way was this meal value for money."

Just a appreciation post for The Foresters Arms in Bagshot, I used the private hire room at the back for my nieces 4th birthday. The staff are fantastic, they set the room up for me so the children could have a little dance. We played...our own music and did some arts and crafts. The Buffet food was laid out beautiful and very yummy (and such a reasonable price per head) no charge for using the room. Thank you so much I have a very happy 4 year Old! Wonderful room, incredible staff!

Popped up to the Foresters last night as we fancied a change after the Xmas break, didn't want a full on meal so opted for the tapas menus. My wife and I love sharing and chose six different dishes and a bottle of wine. All...arrived hot within a short time of each other and served with a smile... Just as Tapas should be. Having lived, loved, worked and holidayed in Spain, Tapas is a cultural experience of small and tasty bites, so any one wanting a more rotund meal perhaps should order a double portion of pie and chips with a side portion of pie... Our meal with a beer and a bottle of wine was just under £50, Good value and was pleased to pay it with a tip. Will definitely be back perhaps f...
