"The coffee was nice the cafe was lovely. The place was empty and that’s unusual for a Saturday morning we know why now the gentleman that served us has very strong opinions that in its self is not a bad thing but we feel he didn’t realise he was definitely over stepping. If the gentleman owns the place that’s up to him as it’s him livelihoods but if someone else owns it I would be concerned. We will not be visiting again at least until we know the gentleman has hire some to cover his shift or sold the business as he did say he’s the owner. I don’t like to leave a negative review but i I can’t leave a very positive one. The coffee was good though."

This is a lovely place. Very welcoming and has a nice atmosphere. Staff are most polite and attentive. My wife and I have been coming here at least twice a month for the last year or so. Pleasant experience guaranteed. View menu

We popped in, on spec, just for a coffee. We couldnt have been made to feel more welcome. Pete was friendly and welcoming. We decided to have breakfast baps each, which were lovely, well cooked and very welcome. We would recommend Macy's highly to anyone!

Nice place, bright inside. Friendly service! Food was good, very tasty, although some slightly overcooked eggs. But still nice. Marmalade and jam were excellent, very different and delicious. So much toast and butter, all good. Yes, we'll be back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast

"We choose this spot because of the many positive reviews. I guess we turned up on a bad day!I have only been introduced to coffee a few years ago despite being in my mid 50’s and really don’t like coffee unless a well made flat white. I travel the world frequently for work and always ask the same question, can you make a flat white? The reason being unless the person is a passionate barista I rarely get a coffee I enjoy. This question clearly upset the lady serving us who ‘rolled her eyes out loud’ by the question and then represented the request to her colleague in a manner that was more like ‘we have a pain in the arse’ than ‘can we make this gentleman a nice coffee. (Yes we overheard).Everything was fine except the flat white was a milky coffee and not something I enjoyed. Not a problem though. I never said a word but when asked at the counter how things were I thought I would say everything was good except the ‘flat white’. Immediately confronted by both in very hostile way was very surprising as I was only answering a question I thought they were interested in hearing I placed a review on their website and their response is a really good example of their attitude. Instead of focusing on service recovery they wanted to blame me and absolve themselves of any responsibility.I of course mentioned this to a few people in Sleaford and surprise surprise was met with very similar responses, ‘we don’t go there anymore as the staff can be very rude’ Looking forward to seeing how the proprietors decide to respond to this one."
