wow, what an amazing place fabulous eating, a great friendly service and a beautiful relaxed ambiente. at the most pleasant meal we had for a long time.

We had a fantastic birthday celebration. Matt and his team made us feel so welcome. Great atmosphere and fantastic food. Everyone had a great time. Thank you Matt, we'll definitely come again!

This is a terrific find. Booked on a planned and much delayed trip to Bruton months ago. Worth the wait. A warm, friendly and verging on the Glastonbury type atmosphere and plentiful tasting menu that covered a range of flavours from Asia to the...Mid East with a healthy dose of Somerset thrown in. You’ll need to book but give it a go.

We came to Bruton for a milestone birthday and this kicked off our long weekend. It was a fantastic way to start. The food was beautiful we had a delicious pork shoulder main and a gorgeous sardine starter. And the service was just so...lovely. Matt and the team do a wonderful job of making you feel welcome and excited about your meal.

we chose this restaurant on the basis of great reviews and they were right. it was really excellent with good quality eating, a beautifully balanced menu, fun cozy environment and really good service. the culinary experience surpassed many more expensive and excellent restaurants. matt made the...output to explain every cursor and made sure that he took time to talk to all the guests. I will definitely return.

matt made us very welcome at the arrival in his house, which was converted into a cozy and intimate restaurant. there is no menu, they get a set course meal. everything we ate was delicious and served by friendly, scientific staff. a great positive. brings their own ', which does not mean inflated weeping costs, and the fixed price menu means that they know exactly what their meal costs. only a comment, it would have been nice to have been offered coffee at the end of the meal.

We were so lucky to get a table here when At The Chapel cancelled all their restaurant bookings and I got in touch with Matt. As it was our wedding anniversary he promised he would do what he could to fit us in, and lo...and behold on the afternoon we arrived in Bruton he rang with a cancellation spot, and boy were we pleased he did! The food was wonderful, portion sizes perfect and I loved having no choice! It just made it super relaxing. Both Matt and his waitress were really friendly, with Matt coming over for a chat a few times during the evening. I would highly recommend pre-booking if you are in Bruton this is a special one.
