"As we were entered Mezzo Mezzo in Essen tired of searching for a restaurant we decided to take pot luck even though from the outside the restaurant looked a bit old fashioned. We entered and the kitchen in the middle of the restaurant was very inviting. The minestrone I ordered as a starter was tasty but nothing special. But when the main dish arrived - namely a pesce spada (sword fish) wiht broccolis and potatoes - I was flabbergasted. It was just incredily good ; I was astounded and delighted. I then ordered a tiramisu and what came was juste overwehlmingly delicious, light, creamy and amazingly not sugary at all. Excellent job guys !! I enjoyed dinner tremendously and I will come back as soon as possible."

we have eaten after a family trip on the afternoon in the mezzo mezzo. we were surprised that the cellar immediately brought a water dish for the dog. the service was very good and the food tastes excellent. we were three and everyone was very satisfied with his court.The local offers Mediterranean cuisine, a bit Italian, a bit grieche, a bit of everything. but, everything is delicious and price-performance is fine.The location is very nice, I like open cooks, but you smell the clothes afterwards too.The staff is very friendly and attentive.A local which offers something for everyone.
