After closing, it feels very good to sit in a restaurant and share some delicious sushi with a Billecart Salmon Rosé. You can always expect good food and great service there, I look forward to my next venue. Cheers!

Nice Japanese restaurant with a view of the lake. Nice ambience and food is just ok. I've had better Japanese for the price. Chf 68 for Menu sashimi. But still a place worth visiting if you're looking for a decent place to eat lunch at. View menu

Excellentes salades, belle vue sur le lac, les mushis en dessert sont une très belle découverte. Les sushis n'avait rien d'extraordinaire et le thé n'était pas très goûteux. Service impeccable dans un cadre agréable. Vous paierez cher pour ce que c'est dans l'ensemble, ex: 200 CHF pour 2.

Das Lokal ist im Gebäude des Hotel Beau Rivage Palace. Es ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Speisekarte bietet eine Vielzahl von verschiedensten japanischen Gerichten. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen wird liebevoll serviert und schmeckt hervorragend. Das Lokal können wir wärmstens empfehlen.

Beautiful and delicious dinner at Miyako!! We arrived pretty late in the evening and the restaurant was pretty crowded, but the waiters made it possible to find another place. We had a menu with tuna tartar, Misosuppe, black cod and a dessert, all these delicious were very nicely prepared and presented. Also the service was exceptional and responded very quickly to additional requests, always with a smile, and highly professional. View menu

Amateurs de restaurants japonais nous n'avons rien à dire quant à la qualité des produits proposés nous avons trouvé les serveurs attentifs et pas condescendants mais la déception est plutot venue du manque d'originalité des plats. Ça ressemble à ce que l'on trouve dans la majorité des restaurants japonais alors que la cuisine japonaise est infiniment plus originale et variée. À ce niveau de tarif (très élevé ) on a envie d'être plus surpris que ça.

I’ve visited Miyako a couple of times before however, this time stuck with me compared to the other times. The staff was extremely professional and very pleasant which enhanced the dining experience. The food had good proportions and was plated in a very beautiful way...showing the customers the quality of the restaurant. The day in which I dined at Miyako it was gloomy and rainy and the waiters specifically catered their suggestions to give the customers a pleasant experience. I certainly recommend Miyako for a nice formal diner or more casual lunch, but keep in mind that it’s high quality does bring it to the more pricy side, but I assure you are getting your money’s worth!

A small example of ridiculous management : Salade tataki de bœuf Beef tataki salad : chose the small one at fr. and avoid the larger one at Fr. Our guests took either of them. The small one has avocado. Both are made...of rice threads, beef slices, and rocket leaves.The big one has a huge amount of roquette salad (rocket) that makes most of the volume. I will avoid the lousy reference to Swiss cows' diet. We asked why the big one does not have avocado, a pleasant diversification, especially in the larger salad. Answer was : no avocado, but you have more beef slices ! We thought that was a mistake on the cook's part. But no, it was the way it should be, according to the kitchen's rules ! This... View menu
