I went to get a takeaway latte to enjoy on the seafront, but later discovered the upstairs balcony with a beautiful view of the sea. The staff were very friendly and the latte was delicious.

Called in with a friend in a wheel chair plus the dog. Staff greeted us at the door and were very polite and helpful. They offered to set up the wheel chair ramp. Good range of alcholic drinks and coffee and tea available, so great for designated drivers. Service: 5 Location: 5

Stayed here 26.09.23 originally for 1 night but was impressed with the service and breakfast decided to stay an additional night. The location is on the seafront and the rooms are quiet. Located on the Clevedon seaside promenade, this charming historic pub maintains its antique character both inside and out. We had a delightful meal of fish goujons and chips, a delicious beef and horseradish sandwich, and enjoyed pints of Guinness. The total bill for the two of us came to £24.35. A copy of Somerset-Maugham's Moon and Sixpence can be found behind the bar, adding to the pub's unique charm.

The pub, situated with a view of the estuary, is in an ideal location. The spacious rooms are kept clean and are stocked with amenities like tea that are replenished daily. The bar is well-stocked and efficiently managed, and the food is both delicious and abundant. Unlike other local bars, this pub is dog-friendly, and the staff make an effort to ensure a warm welcome. Nice position right on the seafront, and friendly staff, but does have its flaws. A friend of mine won't go because the beer was awful (bad lines), however mine was ok on last visit. But when I did go, I asked if someone was still sitting at the table as it had empty glasses on it, was told no so went and sat down, yet the staff didn't come and take the glasses or wipe down the sticky table, despite it being dead in there. I think just a bit more attention to detail, cleanliness and ensuring the lines are good would make a world of difference. View menu
