"The space itself is beautiful, featuring large old windows that are very attractive, and the indoor garden decor—complete with small trees and a table with an umbrella—is delightful. The service was attentive and quick. My friend had the duck starter, which was absolutely excellent—one of the most delicious things I've tasted. I really enjoyed my smoked salmon dish and dessert, especially the extremely tasty filo pastry in which it was served. I don’t know how such a thin pastry could be so flavorful, although it might be attributed to butter. I was a bit disappointed by the main course options, which were either ox cheek or white fish, along with what appeared to be a vegetarian option of tortilla wraps (the menu didn’t specify what was in them). I felt like the available choices swung between extremely light (the fish) and very rich (the ox dish). However, the ox cheek was not overwhelming and was indeed very good. I made the mistake of treating the fish dishes as separate components when I initially served them, but I realized that they would have been much more flavorful combined. I’ll keep that in mind for next time! I didn't absolutely love my dish, as I'm not typically a fan of things that come with buzzing (aside from fried food, of course—bring on the fried!), but it was still decent. The desserts were nicely done; they didn’t wow me, but I appreciated the use of rose water in the cream broth. Some desserts on the à la carte menu looked incredible. Overall, a great place among many restaurants!"
