"Extensive menu so you can go for as many days as you like during the holidays and still find something new to try. Service is always great. Huge seating area outside so there was never a problem getting a seat in the sun or in the shade. Definitely worth a visit"

Nice pint of Guinness for anyone who misses it. Have eaten here two weekends in a row and it was very nice. A little pricey but worth it for the atmosphere on the terrace watching GAA matches. Lots of attentive staff.

Great place for having drinks and the food is delicious. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is not having many vegetarian options (no clear indication on the menu) and absolutetly non vegan ones. It's a pity because I love the place.

"Heard only good things about this restaurant. Arrived at 20.35 for 20.45 reservation. We were left standing outside until 21.00 (I am 75). The ambience was poor and dated and the table was very basic but the chairs were comfortable. It was 21.25 before we received our starter. I ordered the chicken tacos. I received 2 and they were very average and way overpriced at €8.50. My wife was pleased with her starter. We both had the pork belly for our main. It was ok but far too salty an too much soya which totally dominated the flavour. Our drinks: I ordered still water in Spanish and my wife a tonic water. I received a small carafe of water with a glass with an ice cube in it. I had half of it drank before I realised that it was tap water. I was a bit shocked as I had never drank tap water in my 23 years coming to Spain. I was charged €2.50 for the tap water. My wife then ordered a bottle of Magners cider and was charged €5.5 for it. We then asked for our bill which came to €52 (very expensive for what we got) we paid our bill with a small tip and left. I need to say that the staff were all very pleasant and obliging. My wife was passing out with the heat and one of the waiters brought a fan as close as the lead would allow and this helped a lot. We were indoors and there was no sign of air con, just a row of fans on the far wall from us. As I said, I came expecting a lot but was left disappointed and won’t be going back. I have another booking for 5 September but will be cancelling this. Paul, La Mata"
