"During our visit in Leipzig we had dinner in Pata Negra. The place is located in the busy Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse so it's easily reachable by public transportation. If you don't mind a walk you can even get there by foot from the city centre without too...much of an effort. The restaurant is pretty cosy with nice atmospheric lighting. As opposed to a lot of reviews I see here we did not have to wait long for our food and drinks but the restaurant was not so busy, even on a Saturday evening. Between the two of us we decided to order a number of Tapas. We picked the following: Chipirones, Patatas con mojo, Albondigas picante , Pollo con miel, Pollo con ajo, Jamón Serrano and the Chorizo a la Rioja. For the prices they charge only the Jamón Serrano was enough in quantity and it also tasted very nice. All other tapas were small and overpriced. The Albondigas were very tasty, as was the Pollo con miel and the Patatas con mojo. The Chorizo also tasted nice but was soaked in grease. I guess this is to be expected from a chorizo dish but I still felt it was a bit much. The chipirones were not very good and the Polo con ajo was simply disgusting to the point where we had to send it back to the kitchen. All in all we had an average dinner. Pata Negra would do well to lower their prices a little bit and spend a bit more attention to the quality of their food."

The tapas are very generic, cheaply done and overall sad. The cocktails are below average and the gazpacho is clearly from a can. The backyaed is nice. Maybe kust for beers?

Stuff was not super helpful, we had to wait more than half hour for our food to be served although the restaurant was quite empty. Also very disappointed with food portions as they were inadequate to the prices. Preferred to switch to Acapulco on the...other side of the road for tasty, solid Latin meals.

Schade eigentlich.

I went with a group of people to Pata Negra, being myself the only Spanish person of the group. As expected, some of them asked me for recommendations, and I told them to get some tapas I expected these tapas would be big enough to...satisfy them, being the price around per tapa. After around minutes they asked us what we wanted to drink. The Spanish beers (San Miguel and Cruzcampo) were overpriced, and they aren't the best Spanish beers you can get. Then, after getting the drinks, we ordered food. After around additional minutes, the food started to come to our table. The tapas were deceiving, to put it lightly. Not only they were small (and because of that, overpriced), but some of them we...
