"We are clearly tourists grabbing a quick coffee/breakfast sandwich to go, and sat at a table for a moment as we got our plan together and had a quick bite of our sandwich as we figured out our hiking plan and were going to walk out in 30-60 seconds to be on our way (it was a coffee bar and not busy at all). The manager came up to us aggressively, accusing us of paying cheaper prices while trying to sit (we didn’t realize there were different prices, we would gladly pay), and she kicked us out while she made a big deal to her coworkers/the other guests talking about how bad we were. It was only 5 minutes but so uncomfortable and wanted to warn other tourists not to go here as they were super rude!"

really sweet fuge and the hot drinks are also served lovely. I loved my hot chocolate and grilled sandwich, the granola was also decent, uh, and the brownie was delicious! that was pretty early in the morning and the staff was super happy, that always makes every caffe 10x better.

just the best cup of coffee I had in Scotland! very trendy little caffe similar to home in Australia with many baked and beautiful salads (the fruit salad to the breakfast is a winner, generous service and very fresh). near the train station waverley too very convenient for traveling!
